It is after the fisherman arc that they go to Madam Jin to restore ShenLi's powers and end up in the cave. Then there's the battle and after it we get sequels - they go to Madam Jin's wedding and that's where they get cute scenes again that you mentioned :)

He basically called her A-Li, the marriage with FRJ is annuled, so Shen Li belongs to XZ anyway xD
