We will get everything. The novel is pretty short and the drama would have been even shorter if they hadn't included some details that weren't in the novel. So, they are really spoiling us :) Ofc , I wouldn't mind 70+ episodes like e.g. the legend of minglan or the rise of the phoenix lol

He cannot. He is omnipresent but not omnipotent. It is just the writer's/screenwriter's way of showing how they are basically one. They understand each other without any words, just gazes. They complement and finish each others' thoughts.
He kinda doesn't know he is luring her. He is just being himself or rather discovering himself and his new emotions rather than just being unfazed and aloof for centuries :)

The kissing was awkward on his part but it's believable as he is inexperienced and still kinda holding back unlike ShenLi hhaa

yeah, that's the thing. They can be in love but cannot use divine power to e.g. resurrect their dead lover or do bad deed to the world out of grief or injustice

They subtly implied she's bi, that she crossdresses and then asks SL to get "a husband" aka her ahha

wow, they merged the stuff in the cave scene were even better than in the novel. The chemistry if off the charts, their emotions are so pure. The microexpressions of LGH and especially ZLY's are so beautiful in the cave 😭😍

All actors were wearing heavy robes, makeup and wigs when its was hella hot. They were filming in summer if I remember well. LGX said himself he sometimes looks annoyed as XZ because he was sweating and ucomfortable haha xD

i died when he was so smitten the minute she agreed to his second wish especially ahhaha

The cave scene is slowly creeping in meanwhile our couple didn't have a proper kiss yet 🤣

It means fisherman and Yu Yi is basically "the fish one" xD although XZ meant probably something different in writing (it has different meanings depending on whether you write it or say it)
She played along and teased him, because he looked frustrated with what name he should come up with.

I think you should wait for the surprise ;) I strongly believe they filmed the scene. The teasers reveal the ending and even sequels! ;) The drama is faithful to the novel and all matters (e.g. two wishes) circle back and all loose ends are tied nicely in the end.
