Title Oxygen Spoiler
I'm loving this series even with it's flaws. And I'm going to miss it once next weeks episode is done. This series is still better than a lot of the straight junk that is out there right now. Loved the good-bye scene between Kao and Phu. It wasn't like the book but I understand there is a pandemic and know that they could not have taped that scene in the an airport like it was done in the book. Plus the series is lower budget. I do wish we had gotten something with Khem and Perth, though .

So much hate for this series right now. Still not nearly as bad as What the Duck (just horrible) , The Shipper (bury your gays), The Extraordinary (another bury your gays) or So Much Much In Love (There was just so much wrong with it...the subtitles just to start with). At least this series has some good actors, a great side couple unusually hot side characters (Jay and even Solo's dad) and at least a tiny bit of depth. Minus Dr. Petch who I find fascinating in the fact that he's so mind boggling stupid and somehow it appears he might still have gotten the girl. But at least it appears Khem and Perth seem to have found one another. Oh where was I going with this? Oh yeah...it's still better than a lot of the crap that's out there.

I find it interesting that all the comments here are negative but they're all positive on YouTube.
I gave a negative review on YT and it disappeared. Can't find it anywhere. Not sure if they blocked me somehow or what but it's gone. Unless YT is having issues today. But I can't find my review.

After watching the finale all I can think is...I feel so bad for the LGBTQ community in the Philippines. For this series...a blatant "bury your gays" statement to be one of the first LGBTQ series put on national TV has got to be painful. And I know there will be those in the straight audience that will not understand and that is OK. It's not your struggle. But for those of us in the community I'm just so sad. In my mind this is a thousand times worse than what happened with The Shipper and I'm still pissed at what was done with Kim/Way. And...it's not 100% what happened on screen. It is in part what the production did to promote the series...they promoted it as if something great could happen but nope...the gays just ended up dead. I don't even care about a sequel for the brother. I'll refuse to watch it. I don't trust this production company nor will I ever trust this director or writer. This is worse than What The Duck in my opinion and that is the low bar in my opinion.

Title Tonhon Chonlatee Spoiler
My personally opinion...the entire second episode was entirely about Ton's insecurity about his sexuality and the fact that he was forcing women on all of his friends was because of his own insecurities. Then when it came time to do the deed...he called the only two he actually knew wouldn't be sleeping with the girls because he knows they are gay. So he calls them and tells then them he is coming over...because what straight guy is going to leave a woman he's about to sleep with to go visit his roommate who is also supposed to be sleeping with a woman? No straight man.

He realized when he saw Chon on stage dancing...being himself and free and when Ai and Nhai said "that's who he really is"...that is the moment Ton realized he was really truly attracted to Chon. So therefore he needed to try to force himself (and unfortunately his friends as well) to have sex with a woman to prove he is straight. More to prove it to himself than anyone. A lot of people didn't like this episode but I think it's because they were not looking at it in the correct way. This is the moment when Ton realized he is possibly gay and attracted to Chon.

My favorite moment and I think it was the most meaningful moment of the episode was the alternate ending scene. Because in life we all have the version of how we'd love things to end up and then there is the reality. I'm personally happy this story is not over. I trust creators of this series to give us a great second season with this particular cast. There is so much more story to be told for both Karl and Vlad. And I love that the other characters were included in the montage in the end as well. Yes...this series was about Karl and Vlad but what makes the gay story so important can be the people that support us and love us. The older gay uncle. The supportive sister. The supportive friend. They are part of the community that are important to our story as well. Side note...this series has such a beautiful soundtrack. Cant wait for season 2.

What a beautiful series from beginning to end. That's all I really have to say. I mean...the acting was incredible. The soundtrack was beautiful. I cried more with this series than any other series ever. (it dethroned UWMA ) And I'm OK with a season 2 as long as it has the same quality as season 1 and I trust the people what worked with season 1 so I know it's in good hands.

I think it's interesting that it's that Wave very likely gave himself the virus because he didn't want Pang to have to sacrifice himself alone to Supot for whatever plane Grace has initiated. He wanted to be there with Pang. And you could see the surprise on Pang's face when he realized what Wave had done.

That is unless Wave has double-crossed him and we are about to see history repeat itself...Oh please, please pleeeeeeeeeeeeease I hope not. In my mind I've been thinking if anyone could turn against anyone it would be Third...but it's it's Wave against Pang...not sure if I could handle that kind of betrayal.

I just don't want a car scene in the final episode. Or a motorcycle scene. Because us gays...we don't fare well in BL when there are cars and motorcycles involved . I'm looking at you The Shipper and MODC!

This is pertaining to episode 11...I'm not one of those people who really cares about kisses in BL series. Kissing is overrated in general to be honest. (sorry...I find kissing boring...it does nothing for me...never has) But I must admit I liked the kiss between Itt and Pai. (probably because I find Marc to be extremely easy on the eyes...I'm just happy he's legal at this point) Which then shocked me when Pai's mom and dad ruuuudly ended ended their kiss by walking up to them like that. How ruuuuude! Oh and it looks like next weeks episode it going to be crap-tastic!!! Not sure how they are going to wrap it all up in one episode though.

I will only have an issue with it if is a reoccurring theme in the series. I found the lack of consent cringy…
I understand that. It will be interesting to see how it plays out on this series and the future BL series. We are kind of in the Renaissance of BL right now so hopefully that change will come with it.

I think Pang planned to join forces with Soput because Grace told him that's what he needed to do. I think Grace has been running the entire plan since she first saw herself at the end of the last episode. She's the key to taking Supot down. We now know that her future self basically time jumps back into her body and takes over which I think is a really awesome ability. But Grace is basically chess player at this point...moving her pieces into place for the final checkmate. Sidenote...it was wonderful to see Namtan in this episode...I missed her.

I think it could also be that I'm a fem from the 80's . So the TV and movies I grew up on were far worse when it came to fem representation than now. Even in yesterdays episode...that was extremely tame compared to the violence and humiliation the fem characters went through back in the 80's. So although I understand there is an issue... I've seen far far worse. And I also agree that GMMTV will address this issue. But I am hopeful.

Loved the first episode! The chemistry between Pod and Khaotung is quite good. I love that they use every excuse they can to get Ton's shirt off. Couple observations...I found the scene with the guy who slapped Chon's ass a bit cringy. My first thought was "Wow...consent." And I thought he deserved the punch. And yes I know there are those who have an issue with the fact that the guy was feminine but that was less of an issue with me. I did love how uncomfortable Chon looked at the idea of punching someone after the punch though. Second...I think Ton had to have heard Chon and his mother talking while they were at the breakfast table. He probably already knows that Chon likes him. And it's likely why he invited Chon to live with him...because he likely came back for Chon...just has not told him that yet. Third...our second couple. I love that they were introduced in the shower. A brief reminder of their 2gether roots. I laughed quite a bit during the first episode so I can say I quite enjoyed the first episode. I can't wait until the second episode to see the dynamic once we get a full episode with Mike and Toptap. I have a feeling that's when the series will really take off.

Are none of you bothered by the femphobia? Again, our main characters are straight-acting played by straight actors,…
I will only have an issue with it if is a reoccurring theme in the series. I found the lack of consent cringy when he grabbed Chon's but the fem aspect was not as important yet. Again...if it ends up a reoccurring theme that might change my mind. down the road.

Episode 12 was a pretty good finale. The season as a whole with the focus on TinCan was something I personally loved. So I have no issues at all. My only issues is I think the retread could have been a couple episodes shorter. Other then that I enjoyed this season. I didn't have nearly the issues that most did with this season. With one exception...I felt the balance of characters was a bit off. I would have liked a little more Ae story but I get that they probably didn't have much story to tell. I think it's just more that I am a Perth fan and missed seeing him on my screen. I'd give this a 7.5 maybe 8 out of 10. Not perfect. But definitely rewatchable.

Question for those who saw episode 10. So the room that Itt and Pure were sitting outside of at the end of the episode...is that room in the book? Or is that something new? Because I don't remember that room and the preview show Itt taking Pai there and now I'm confused. I'm wondering if I'm remembering how Itt tells Pai how he loves him correctly or if they are changing it.
