If the spoiler tag doesn't work for you for whatever reason, please refrain from posting spoilers, cause it's just unfair to people who are going in blank and don't wanna read the spoilers.

i keep asking people to use spoiler tags too, and i ever read the novel, but just thinking of non-novel readers. yeah, i post a lot of spoilers but always behind a spoiler tag....
Knowing how big the chance of this show ending with a cliffhanger is making me conflicted, one good side is that…
the novel also ended with a message 'will be continued in season 2' ^^ and yeah mile & bible hinted at it, so i'm actually very happy it won't be over after episode 15
Lets stop talking about problematic stuff in the novels :) and focus on the episode. Anyone else who loves Pete as much as I do? He's my favorite character, and I love how they made him besties and roomies with Porsche since day 1! They weren't roomies in the novel!
Spoiler of the book ahead, I noticed some people saying if vegas and pete end up together it will be romanticized…
i think you should click on the spoiler tag when you post a spoiler though ;-; there is literally a button for that, i know cause i post a lot of spoilers too and some people told me they didn't know the details and felt bad for being spoiled so now i always click the 'spoiler' button so it doesn't appear immediately
Can someone please tell me how is that Vegas arc goes on their novel?I know about the whole kidnapping, torture…
After raping and hurting Pete, and keeping him chained, Vegas falls in love with Pete because of Pete's kindness and optimism. Just things like Pete calling him on the phone or asking him how he feels after a fight wish his dad was enough for Vegas to fall for him, because he was depraved of such basic acts of love from his dad all his life and always felt alone.
However, there is no clear reason to why and how Pete falls in love with Vegas, I personally think it's Stockholm Syndrome, even though he really, really falls hard for Vegas too, it was never mentioned how and why. He just felt a lot of sympathy for Vegas.
Pete eventually has a breakdown in front of Vegas for being treated like a tied up animal (and there was another misunderstanding) and Vegas decides to let him escape because Pete starts hurting himself, so he removed the chain and even tells Pete he loves him and asks him to stay with him. Pete smacks Vegas with the chain and knocks him out cold on the floor before running away.
Vegas tries to find Pete later, realizes he is happy and smiling without him, and lets him go.
But, afterwards, there is a confrontation between XXXX (Censored for being a spoiler of the main story line) and Pete realizes in that moment he loves Vegas, he wants to be with him.
More stuff happens but don't feel like spoiling all of that, and they have a very good ending, they're happily in love and very cute together.
Is the rape and torture romanticized, no, not really. Vegas never hurts Pete again after they fall in love, he becomes the kindest, most loveable boyfriend and husband to Pete :) hehe.
He really, really regrets everything he did to Pete. We as readers realize he did all of those bad things because they were enemies, and Vegas is a bad guy, but he changes for Pete, because he really WANTS to change, he also tells Pete that he likes seeing himself change and be a better person and it's all thanks to him. The character development is *mwah* chef's kiss.
I am happy they got a happy ending and I'm pretty sure the authors will not give a bad ending to Pete and Vegas in the series, it would make many novel readers very angry and I like that Vegas finds love, a family and someone to care for and someone who cares for him, all the things he never had in his life.
Unpopular opinion but am actually dreading the Vagaspete storyline..don't get me wrong I have nothing against…
it's gonna get pretty bad for our little pete, they made him even more loveable in the series probably so that it will hurt us in the feels and feel so unfair even more, but yeah i think they will tone down some things in the drama...but we did see vegas trying to electrocute him in the teaser so who knows :')

Just my two cents ^^
