i read the novel, to be honest kim and porchay are in the background, so he's not very important in the novel.... but i think he will become more important in SS2 because the novel ended with an open ending indicating that Kim might before more important to the storyline.

for the series, i think they will give him and porchay more scenes, i noticed kim and porchay both like music in the series (from what i've seen so far), they probably did that so we can see them bonding over a shared interest since we didn't have that in the novels

There is no way they can make Vegas too kind, cause it will ruin his character development and change his character too much.

Vegas' character development is the best of all characters, because he realizes how wrong and disgusting his behavior to Pete was and how much he hurt him, and the one hundred eighty degree turn from a phsychopath to a fool in love who would die for pete is what makes him so great. and the authors know this too. i don't think we should be worried. The teasers and trailers also showed us a very pyscho looking vegas hehe

You alone don't get to decide what is BL and what isn't BL, or what is a good BL. As mentioned before, Boys Love genre exists of many (sub-) genres. Actually, I think you have not watched or read many BL's yourself. Boys Love genre, like any other genre, also has rights to stray away from university and puppy love stories. Or do you think criminals and mafia can't be gay? Only university students and high schoolers are allowed to have their love stories presented in fiction?

Also, did you know fictional stories about mafia and violence is also a form of escapism? Not only sweet stories, even violent stories are all a part of the fantasy of the reader and writer.

I hope you stop watching KinnPorsche and move on to other shows that suits your taste, you're just wasting your time, and the series will get more violent from here. It's just not your cup of tea, and that's fine, just leave.
