This was the weirdest experience watching BL ever. I love TinCan so much in LBC1 and the novel but this whole show was just....not as good. But I was impressed by MeenEst actually. I really liked Est's (Hin) acting. Meen (Tul) is not a great actor but MeenEst have great chemistry and gave their all during that kiss. I really liked their storyline, too bad it was rushed because the writing of ACTL is just ugh so bad. Meanwhile, Plan and Mean are so awkward together when they kiss but they're supposed to be the MC. They have great chemistry though, just not during a kiss scene. Just wish they were as rememberable like in LBC1. I also wish Mame had given the actors a better script to work with. What this season also lacked were more scenes with characters like Pond, Sammy (forgot her name in LBC lol) and Techno, and I mean *memorable* scenes, no ads. They were funny, added charm to the series but they are reduced to nothing in this show. They are just *there*. The more I think about it, the more it saddens me how much ACTL is lacking. I still enjoyed it since I watched it until the end (we still have one ep left) but it's not good. And each episode frustrated me more than it should. Also, it's kinda funny how TumTar are in three shows (seasons) but they end up brother zoning eachother. And Kla and Techno's storyline went absolutely nowhere. Nothing makes sense. It's so bad it's funny. I'm too tired to be upset anymore about everything that's wrong about this show. I will just keep TinCan from season 1 and the novel in my heart. And I'd rather forget about this whole season, except the few parts I did enjoy.
Important!!! Soon we will stay without english Sub, all sub next month will be delayed because IrozukuSubs moving…
I've been studying Japanese for 5 years so I would like to give it a try, however I don't even know how to put subs on the screen or where to find the RAWs ;0 if someone could help me out with the technical side, I could provide the translations.
This was absolutely 100% a money grab. Disappointed but not surprised considering neither Mame nor New wanted…
I agree! He's not like Tin from S1 at all. They completely rewrote his character. You worded exactly what I was thinking. Actually, even MeanPlan said in an interview they were confused by their characters ar first when they received the script of S2. They were like "This can't be correct? ". Mame chose to change Tin into the softer boy he is now so it's more realistic for him to fall in love with Can. She should have never done that. I regret it so much. The Tin in S1 had fire, he's so different now. I can't seem to feel for him the same way as I did in S1. And I'm so mad about that. Why did Mame rewrote everything that made TinCan so good.
Thai fans are getting their Cherry Magic soon via WeTV! while the rest of us just bite our lips and cry...T_Thttps://twitter.com/WeTVThailand/status/1324705597359452166?s=09
not me watching cherry magic all over again for the 4th time today. and not me watching cherry magic all over…
I noticed this among cherry magic watchers, we just watch all available episodes every day until the new one comes out and than we repeat the process cause it's just THAT good
Tin and Can's storyline is bland AF, but Tul's storyline is actually kind of interesting.
It hurts to read they're bland :( TinCan is an amazing coupe with an amazing story. It's just that S2 kinda erased their storyline of S1 and gave us a so-so adaptation of the novel.
Episode 11 was good and almost 50 minutes. The conversation between Tin and his dad was nice and I liked the TinCan moments too. Tin sucking that drink was TOO much for my brain to handle though. Can didn't get shy but I sure as hell was. I really hope Gonhin and Tul get their own season. Gonhin is so pretty and their storyline is so interesting, it's just that we were only able to catch a small glimpse of it. I want to know more about them. Mai suddenly showed up again after vanishing for some time. Literally don't get why he's there and why we have to see this guy we don't care about talk to Ae ,while we have a whole ass Pond we love so much . Would have loved to see more of him. I miss Ae and Pond's scene together.
Edit: I have to take back some of my words. I hadn't finished the episode when I made my comment. The episode lacked a lot of things that were in the novel. It's like they decided the story ends when TinCan are together because where are all the scenes in the novel? Those scenes had meaning and gave depth to the relationship, were impactful and are all the reasons we love TinCan. I am not even only talking about romantic scenes. They didn't show any of the scenes we actually wantes to see, instead what they gave us were cute scenes used for commercial purposes but they're just filler. Remember in s1? No scene between TinCan was filler, also in the novel, they were all going somewhere and each scene was so good! I'm so mad right now. I am not angry at the actors I am mad at whoever decided this script is OK. It's not the TinCan storty from S1 and not the TinCan story from the novel. I'm dissapointed.
I'm so happy we all agree this series and the main leads are so lovely. I haven't read one negative comment on twitter or on MDR. It's been a while since the whole BL fandom came together like this and enjoyed a series this much. Haha. I'm happy it is getting the recognition it deserves :)
