Nah from what I've seen, I think she's a pretty good actress. I only know her from her stuff in hollywood, but she seems capable enough to pull off raquel.

OP trying their best to sound articulate and coherent by throwing in profound terms like western propaganda to validate their dislike of this drama but instead makes an embarassing and pretentious attempt. Tragic.

Rated this a 3/10, but this drama has a special place in my heart because it was one of the first kdramas I watched! Ahh the nostalgia of early 2010s dramas!

Side note: looked at the top review and almost had an angina. I wouldn't consider this drama to be informative lol. The medical scenes were quite cringeworthy haha

It's a fun watch for me, but I definitely won't recommend it to anyone who feels uncomfortable with inacurate depictions of suicide. Only watch it if you're sure it won't bother you. And like @pinksprings01 said, I hope they improve.

think they were referring to characters with two dimensional personalities, not the source material.

I agree with some comments here that the series is badly written. It doesn't bother me to an extent that I would stop watching the series altogether. I'm here because I enjoy Rowoon's acting and the comedic relief moments the trio brings, so I take their handling of sensitive topics with a grain of salt.

But it would be pretty brainless of me to say they do a good job in depicting suicidal characters and the treatments they need. The main characters' way of helping suicidal people is both senseless and counterproductive. Mental health ain't that simple, where a few mean words from Goo Ryun will snap you out of your depression. Trust me babes, us clinical 'depressees' have heard it all, and the 'tough love' talks from our loved ones almost always makes us feel much worse without fail. And since Goo Ryun still has her position in the risk management squad, it's safe to assume that she has never killed anyone with those words of hers in the fictional universe (which is a peculiar miracle).

But, of course, this is just a fun piece of fiction for passing time so it wouldn't be fair of me to judge it too harshly. For what it's worth, the risk management trio is very entertaining so I think the drama is worth continuing.

I swear to god, the full time watching it I was anticipating and looked forward to a fight scene between Gwi Nam and the bullied girl. I mean it only makes sense to include it- both had the same powers, the bullied girl deserved her vengence against Gwi Nam... But lol nope I'm disappointed.

The webtoon is pretty good, would recommend 👌

I've been waiting for this drama for a while now! I absolutely love Nam Ji Hyun and I have been waiting to see her in a new drama since 365: Repeat of the Year :))

I think Song Kang and Rowoon, indeed, aren't the best at acting (in my opinion Seo In Guk is a somewhat decent actor), but I don't necessarily think its their presense that tanks drama ratings.

I believe its solely down to Korean audience's drama tastes *plus* the quality of the dramas in general (and many, many other influences). I mean, with Extraordinary You, Doom, Love Alarm and Sunbae etc, the plot, scriptwriting, characterization and other aspects of the drama were incredibly weak. I doubt any good actor with a decent popularity could bring up their writings if they were casted as the main lead instead.

Also I don't think Song Kang did a bad job in Navillera. But it's not exactly a complex/ intense role and I do think he could be replacable. (I believe what makes a strong actor is their ability to have an irreplacable, memorable presense i.e. this year's Baeksang winner Shin Ha Kyun, and Song Kang deinitely doesn't have this presence in Navillera). But again, he didn't do a bad job. The quality of the script and drama production of Navillera was pretty good. To assume Song Kang became the downfall to their average rating of 3.0% is subjective because audience viewership ratings aren't always reliable. A good example of this would dramas that won Baeksang's best dramas PLUS best actor nominations or/and winners i.e. Mother with 3.4%, My Mister with 4.9% and Beyond Evil with 4.7%. The actors in these dramas were great, so it's hard to judge whether or not it's solely the actor's fault based on viewership ratings.

Lookwise... I don't really have an opinion since they're not my type- my tastes are Shin Ka Hyun, Lee Je Hoon or Gong Yoo. But bottomline, I couldn't care less about their looks. I like them simply because they were in some fun, not serious dramas that I enjoyed i.e. Shopping King Louis or Extraordinary You, even if they're quite inexperienced as actors.
