Unpopular opinion: this guy, Song Kang, Rowoon are just some of the actors whose dramas they headlined tanked…
Hehe I'm a fan of the people you mentioned, but with Song Kang and Rowoon, you're not wrong about their acting. I feel as though their acting does not measure up to their popularity. On a side note; we stan some contructive criticism on this site, even if its an unpopular opinion. I don't see a lot of this without OPs getting hate lol
I've seen comments about a second season here. From what I've searched, there's no confirmation about it from the showrunners. Does anyone perhaps have a source?
Similar to Breaking Bad, I love how you can pick new details on every rewatch of Beyond Evil. Characters are very…
I completely agree. I feel as though this is one of the best dramas when it comes to writing a good complex character. I particularly loved the dynamics between LDS and HJW as a duo and their polar opposite personalities. Man, I can't stop rewatching it to notice the finer details of the show.
I think people who find this slow are people who would find Breaking Bad slow. This drama is so much more than…
Absolutely. I'm rewatching it once again to pay attention to the smaller details. It has such a strong dialogue and music score that I can't ever get bored of it. And I would like to think that if this drama had international attention, it would have the same hype and presence as Breaking Bad.
Mild spoilers ahead!I picked this drama from my long long plan to watch list after watching All In (since I really…
How interesting right? When i was watching it i couldn't but think that she had a ghost writer. Its just that her usual dramas' quality are very incomparable to this one.
Normally I'm not into this kind of drama because I'm into things that have a more heavy tone, but I remember really liking the webtoon back in 2016 so I was intrigued by this series. So far, its definitely far from being a masterpiece and doesn't have a compelling plot (also very mediocre in terms of quality), but I'm still entertained by it. I think every now and then, watching something more lighthearted is fun.
I agree. Since Lee Min Ho will play a somewhat dispicable/ scummy character in the adaptation of my favourote…
I may be biased but I'm a huge fan of the author's works so I would recommend it. It covers the history of the colonisation of korea/ the dynamic between Korea and Japan in the 1900s and explored so many important themes, like racism, classism, xenophobia and gender discrimination. For me it was a powerful book. Author Min Jin Lee did a great job in crafting a beautiful yet tragic story of a Korean family and their struggles during a dark time in history. It's a lengthy book (around 500 pages I think) but I finished it in 2 days because of how captivating the book was. I definitely would recommend, plus its the New York Times best seller and has a very high rating on goodreads.
Maybe its because I'm still immature/ inexperienced as an adult so I find this boring. I love classical music, so I appreciated that aspect of this drama. And I absolutely love Yoo Ah In and Kim Hee Ae. But I find it hard to emotionally invest in this drama. I don't see the artistic value that others here are seeing.
Maybe I'll wait for a few years before watching this again. Hopefully I can enjoy it then :)
