I did start watching it for Heechul and stopped at some point because of cast changes and some of the episodes suddenly felt redundant to me. Maybe it wasn’t just my cup of tea. But this show is. :)
A solid 10 for me. I did not expect to laugh so many times while watching this melodrama. I enjoy silent and slow dramas like this when it’s done right. The characters were all flawed but remained true to themselves as much as life allowed them to be.
This is life I guess, we take one step forward and a few steps back, but we move forward, trudging slowly.

Oh goodness. The finale made me weep so hard. Not because I was sad but because I was seeing what my mindfulness teachers have been teaching me. All of them grew their hearts so big that despite all the pain, sufferings, trauma, and numerous heartaches, they still had space big enough for love, for the good things. Dong Seok, I wouldn’t know how to open my heart like you did.

Such a fun show. Everything PD Na and his team creates is such a gem. In between his competitive and loud series, I enjoy quiet and chill ones like this from time to time. His synergy with Seo Jin never gets old. I hope we can make TMAD in the US a reality. Seriously, I just hope YOF, TMAD, the hostels, and even NJTTW just get back on tv now that traveling has eased up.
I’m so so so so proud and happy for Junho. What a way to nail his comeback drama. 😭 The whole cast, story, and production staff all did well! They deserve the recognition. Thank you for that finale. I was prepared to be brokenhearted but you left me with an everlasting warm memory. Deok Im and San, may you live in our warm hearts forever!
Surprisingly enjoyed this! It usually annoys me to no end when someone in the show is so loud, but one of the fun elements of this show (and quite different from other reality shows) is how Hong Chul butters up to Netflix. I kept waiting for the next Netflix merchandise he was going to bring on the next destination.
Their banter is so so hilarious, Their friendship is fun and genuine, Ji Hoon is so down to earth and such a great carer. The two of them are so lucky to have developed this kind of friendship late in life. I hope they get a season 2! I will definitely watch it!
As a non-drinker, I enjoyed this so much. It was strangely weird that the scenarios didn’t feel repetitive despite them drinking every time, all the time. 😂 I don’t like seasonal dramas very much but I’d welcome another season with open arms, that’s for sure. 지구야 지연아 소희야, 고맙고 적시자!!!
I’m not a sageuk lover (just started slowly getting into it again this year in preparation for 2PM’s dramas. The last time I had sooo much interest in sageuk was before 2010s 😂)
So there’s that, surprisingly I never got bored with this drama. I liked the storyline and how they wrapped it up by the finale. Yup, there were loose ends but the “Lovers of the Red Sky” was the main plot and you know how well they closed that one. 💖

10 episodes down and I can’t even describe how relieved I am 🥲 I was scared after watching the first episode because so many elements reminded me of how dodosolalaetc started 😭 i’m so happy that this drama just keeps getting better and better 💙

Super loveeee this! Probably So Hee’s best performance to date. I’m so happy to see that she tried something new and did not shy away from dramas other than romance. 💙 The cast were all soooo good! I can’t even start praising Bo Hyun anymore, I love that Busan boy in all his work to pieces. Would’ve loved a longer ending but the ending was good enough!! More noir dramas please.
