Just finished watching ep3. This show is turning out to be better than expected. I especially loved the "buffet" and "piggyback" scenes. Cute and funny. WayKim ship is back on track! (KimKhet would have been good if only they weren't brothers)

The ep ended with the possibility of Kim and the teacher? Wtf! Haha

P.S. I have to agree that the secret sex video thing is a grave concern and it should not be promoted. In any case, I am just glad that Way left the chatgroup because it is 'gross'.

I guess it's because he didn't want to do BL roles anymore. since he didn't feel comfortable playing phana. But…
Didn't really like his acting in 2 Moons but I still loved Bas' portrayal of Wayo.

Episode 2 is already up! Just finished watching it a few minutes ago.

My thoughts? Ummm. I think it's a big improvement from the first episode. As usual, Kokoy's acting was spot on (I think his natural talent and prior experience does him good). What I've noticed is Elijah's acting was good during those scenes where he was happy or sad. But during his "suplado" (I don't know how to translate this in English. sorry) scenes, he was kinda awkward. Elijah's acting is improving here but I think his lines could be written better. Speaking of the script, I loved the pizza scene where they had a wordplay about "yung sa 'yo ha parang mas masarap yan" (I think yours is more delicious) and "hindi mo pa nga natitikman eh pero mas masarap talaga ito" (You haven't even tasted this but this is really delicious.). That was funny and naughty at the same time. hehe The workout scene was also a nice touch. ;-) I liked how the show ended with a new character who would most likely play into the jealousy angle of the would-be couple. haha

While the production values have definitely gone up in this episode, I would just like to comment on the fashion of the actors. Gavreel's clothes were nice but somehow not the same for Cairo (headband really? Ugh!). This series is also fresh and current especially in today's times of pandemic because that theme is relevant to the storyline of the series.

Anyway, Cairo might have lost (again) to Gavreel in their virtual game but I believe the former still won in the "Game of Love" eventually. Ang swerte kaya nya nya na maka date si Gavreel diba? (He is lucky to have a date with Gavreel right?)

Mabuhay to the production team! Hope to see more of this series soon. Loved the theme song because it relates to the theme of the series. Good job!

P.S. Our house has the same water bottles with Gavreel during his videochat. I guess we both got it at the Japan Home Center. haha

Done already watching all of those except Crossing the Line. Thanks for the suggestions. :-)

Thanks for the heads up! Will reserve this for the weekend. In the meantime, I will look for some light and fun dramas. Any suggestions?

FAST THOUGHTS IN THE LAST EPISODE
BonDuehn - relationship status change. yay!
RamKing - best kiss award in My Engineer
MekBoss - still hubby and wifey (but sad that Ryan won't be in S2)
PharaFrong - friendzoned (or should I say "brozoned"/"juniorzoned"?)
On Until We Meet Again May 31, 2020
I decided to watch this drama because of the positive reviews. Honestly, I started watching UWMA like weeks ago but I stopped watching after the first episode because of the double s*****e scene. That was damn sad! So I watched other dramas in the mean time. Then, a couple of days ago, when I no longer had a backlog of BL dramas to watch, I decided to resume watching UWMA again.

My gosh! This drama is so good and well-made.Despite its sad backstory, I am so glad there were many happy scenes in the plot - otherwise, that would have been depressing. The cooking of beautiful and delicious desserts as well as the good performance of supporting characters (especially Manaow) were a welcome addition into making the series a fun to watch drama. Of course, I was so relieved that it had a satisfying ending unlike this other much-hyped recent BL series (wink wink). Speaking of 2gether (oops!), I really can't fathom why people would rate it on the average almost the same as UWMA. Really!? Really!? Do you have eyes? Although I also liked 2gether for the most part, it is really miles apart from UMWA in terms of quality. I suggest those who became BL fanatics because of that series, watch also UWMA and see for themselves how 2gether pales in comparison to it. ;-)

Kudos to the director, actors and the entire production team which made it possible. I hope you keep on making this kind of BL drama with interesting stories and not like the others who keep on churning out the usual teenybopper plots. Keep it up!

P.S. I can't seem to get this off my head after watching UWMA - P'Dean! P'Dean! P'Dean! P'Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeean! (haha. Only UWMA fans would get this)

I still stand by the theory that this happened because the director and the script writers are straight hahahaTHey…
You're right! There was a ton of difference in the TayNew ship from KMA and DBK. I also noticed there was quite a big difference in the performance of BW in the trailer of the series compared to the final cut. More than their acting, other aspects really affected the outcome. Oh well.

P.S. LOL on the resting bitch face comment. Upon reading it, I was suddenly reminded of his constant squinting and glaring of the eyes. Haha

With all the comments of a sad ending for this series, I am kinda hesitant to start watching this one. I just finished watching Until We Meet Again, and I cried in that series (thank God for the ending which redeemed it.hehe). I need to rest my tear ducts for a while. Haha. Is it sadder than UWMA and He's Coming to Me?

I agree. Although Ryan Peng acts good as Mek, I found his dubbed voice somehow distracting. Not to mention that the voice sounded older than the supposed age of the character Mek? In any case, still love Mek. Hope their issues will be resolved soon so that we can still have Ryan in Season 2. :-)

I am watching this for Ohm and First. Why can't gmmtv just give them a proper BL series!
I totally agree. They have chemistry together in this series (I think even better than KimWay) but I think it is somehow lost since they can't be shipped together being brothers and all. (I hesitate to ship them because that would be incest. haha).

Just finished watching Ep2 and I had more fun compared to Ep1 which I found to be somewhat silly and some scenes over the top (can we minimize the nosebleeding stuff already? it feels too overused already and it appears poorly executed also). From the looks of it, this series is intended to be a light drama so let's cut it some slack. Of course, it's a fluff piece so we should not expect serious stuff and heavy issues to permeate the plot. That being said and having leveled off my expectation, I really had fun watching it so far. I just recently finished watching some BL drama with serious undertones (e.g. He's Coming to Me and Until We Meet Again), so watching The Shipper (and also My Engineer) was actually a breath of fresh air (and gives me time also to relax my tear ducts).

In this episode, P'Jenny was quite funny especially during her scenes with Kim. The bonding between Kim and Khet as brothers were also good (see my P.S. below). My most favorite laughable scenes in this episode was when Kim and Way were hugging in the hospital room and also when Kim (Pan in his body) shouted "Shut it bitch!" to Pingping (she really deserved that. haha). The toilet scene with P'Jenny and Kim was also touching.

Thanks to this series, I also learned some new stuff like 'myasthenia gravis' and 'tinea cruris'. I feel like going to medical school with these terms. Just kidding. :-D

Just a few quips though. In the hospital, during the scene that Kim went to Pan's room, that was her father right? I didn't notice Kim (Pan in his body) address him as 'father' when they were talking. I think that would have been more accurate considering Pan was still adjusting in her new body (Kim). That would have been more consistent since after the body transfer, Kim used 'kha' (feminine) instead of 'krap' (masculine) in the discussion so evidently Kim still thought of himself as a girl. :-)

P.S. I am confused if it is right to ship OhmFirst in this series. The chemistry of their characters is actually good but externally that would still be incestuous right? hahaha

Do not believe any negative comments or reviews because they were only based on minor and nitpicking issues on…
Spoken like a true hype watcher? Why don't you try watching other better BL series like TharnType, Theory of Love, Love by Chance, Dark Blue Kiss, Until We Meet Again and He's Coming to me. Hopefully by then, you would get what (and why) the people here are harping about 2gether. Maybe then you would realize that expecting chemistry from the lead actors in a love story is NOT nitpicking, because love and desire could be expressed more than just a kiss and even a high-five. ;-)

Personally, I don't think the actors in 2gether should be given too much blame for what happened. After finishing the series, I came upon the show's trailer as mentioned in this MDL web forum. Although sadly, the scenes in the trailer were not in the final cut of 2gether, I was actually impressed by the acting of Bright and Win in the trailer. I am glad to see that they are not just some pretty faces after all and actually have talent. So I guess, there was something wrong with the directing, editing, writing, etc.

I will always be thankful for 2gether for introducing me to BL series. However, in comparison by watching the other BL series which were better made, it would definitely pale in comparison especially in the acting and chemistry aspect. I am a positive person, so I believe in giving second chances .

The fact that this series has many comments (both positive and negative) actually means that there are a lot of people who cared enough to watch it and make their opinions heard. And so, if ever there would be a 2gether sequel (which I pray there will be), I hope that the production team would take the comments of the viewers so that they could redeem themselves and make a better show for everyone's enjoyment.

Wow! Nice comments you two. You won't get scolded for it (at least not by me). It's just our opinion anyway. haha

Had to agree with the "wooden and detached" description of Bright's performance especially in the last few episodes when the chemistry between the male leads somehow magically disappeared. I was also bothered by it considering that he is supposed to be more experienced in the acting department unlike Win who is a newbie (his acting was better in comparison). In any case, after finishing the series I was able to watch this trailer of 2gether (I think that was the first trailer) and it featured scenes which were not in the final series. I was honestly amazed to see that Bright and Win actually did well in those scenes. Quite far from the performances that we actually got in the final cut. If that is so, then I think most of the problem lies more in the other stuff (i.e. writing, directing, etc.) more than the actors themselves (although they could also use more improvement in that aspect).

Btw, loved the term "eye f***". I actually laughed upon reading it. haha. Funny but true. Love and desire could be expressed even through the eyes and not just physical intimacy. I think this aspect should be given more emphasis in future BL dramas especially in today's times of epidemic.
