After still being on ep 3 of 2Moons2, I could not stand it anymore and had to return to the best one made.Love…
I think all of them except Phana (Godt) are in Hotel Stars. Haven't watched it but I don't think that's BL and the ratings and reviews of that drama somehow makes me discouraged to watch it.
I think streamers have to have their own unique style xD Like Gloco with Teemo Hat, and Alodia with her cosplay
For me, Cai looked better when he wasn't wearing one. In hindsight, I also didn't like some boys in Thai BL series who wore lots of earrings. I guess I'm conservative when it comes to male fashion. haha
I think Cai looked more cute during the last scene in Ep3 when he was waiting for Gav to arrive. And to think he was wearing a face mask that time. Aww. Can't wait for them to meet face to face.
Ehhhhhhh! - Me (imitating Pan in Kim's body) after reading some comments here in MDL
True enough, there are some scenes in this series which are worrisome like the video scandal and the teacher-student relationship. But to all those ranting about these scenes - give this show a break will you! Some have focused on these but may have somehow glossed over other bad things that were shown here which may have appeared trivial because it is also shown in many other dramas. If you are concerned about the leaked video as well as P'Kim's relationship with Teacher Kana, then you should also be worried about all the bullying, harassment, mulcting, child labor and even the seeming abandonment of high school children by their parents right? These are also serious issues you know. So please let's not go down that road and overthink things. :-)
The Shipper is obviously NOT an educational or children show and nor does it pretend to be one. Just because it has scenes showing these iffy scenes, does not mean they glorify it or whatever. One member who commented here was very much correct in saying we can't always expect unicorn and rainbows in dramas. These controversial things do happen in real life and if I recall correctly, the characters in the series themselves have also shown their displeasure over those kinds of behavior. So that's already a plus point for them and for the show right? ;-)
I think by now, we the audience must have already realized (with all the tropes, gags, slapstick comedy and other silly scenes shown so far) that The Shipper does not take itself seriously. So why should we? Let's just chill y'all and have fun watching. :-D
Finally and most importantly, we should all NOT FORGET that there was a "raikantopeni" warning at every start of the episodes. So if you don't like watching shows like this with language and scenes which are not suitable for young audience, then don't watch it - simple as that. :-O
P.S. Did anyone notice that there were some scenes in the episodes where Ohm's voice was cracking? Maybe he is already becoming an adult. Awww. How cute! If he was really working in that salon, I would gladly let him wash my hair. haha
Yes! You said it girl! Props to you.I believe many who say that the acting of the leads were great are only fawning…
Yes! I think I also said that in a previous comment somewhere here. The ghost-human ship in HCTM had more chemistry than what we got especially in the last few episodes of 2gether. I think everyone would agree that there's a serious problem with a drama when a fucking ghost's acting trumped your characters. Like WTH! haha
I honestly loved SarawaTine ship in the beginning but somehow these two became "meh" later on. Even the supporting characters had more chemistry than the leads. So I really hope and pray that Director Backaof would learn from the mistakes here and make a better 5-episode sequel. :-D
P.S. I am also awaiting for a sequel of TharnType. haha
IKR! This is (and have always been) my go to feel-good BL series. It might be fluff and such, but I find it's…
Not only that, the director should also have toned down the prissy actions of Wayo in 2 Moons 2. I mean you don't have to act like a stereotypical effeminate guy to be in love with another guy right? Enough already with the batting of eyelashes, shifting eyes, sulky moods, irrational jealousy and irritating tantrums. This is supposed to be college level guys already. Ugh!
In contrast, I loved how Bas portrayed the Wayo character in 2 Moons. His character was more of "innocent love" and showed inner personal strength. Not just like a Phana pushover and acting like a coquettish dame in old movies. hehe
If not in 2 Moons series, I think Bas and Pavel should have their own series so that they can be shipped. Honestly, if I was Bas in 2 Moons 2 (and if it were real.haha) I would have chosen Forth (Pavel) over Phana. High school crush be damned! I really found Pavel to be more charismatic than Ben. I loved that scene wherein he was flirting with Beam by using his juniors saying in unison "P'Forth loves P'Beam". Awwww. That was so sweet. haha
Yes! You said it girl! Props to you.I believe many who say that the acting of the leads were great are only fawning…
IKR! I also thought that scene was weird. They've supposedly had an emotional break up but when Sarawat went to the dorm to get the guitar from Tine, it's as if nothing happened. Ugh!
At first I thought the acting problems were just the nerves or maybe awkwardness (coz it was their first time to be partnered with each other), but actually even Bright was acting quite good in the trailer (have you seen that?). Those scenes even showed depth in their characterization, unfortunately it was deleted (or changed?) and we didn't get to see those in the actual series. So I guess, BrightWin weren't lacking in the talent departmnent at all. My guess is the problem lied with the script and the directing.
Hopefully, all of this will be resolved with the upcoming Still 2gether. With a new director at the helm (hopefully with better writers too?) who happened to direct HCTM and DBK before, I expect better results this time around. :-D
I think streamers have to have their own unique style xD Like Gloco with Teemo Hat, and Alodia with her cosplay
But they look cute in those outfits. XD There was no game streaming in Episode 3 and yet he still wore it? In any case, I still think that Cairo's headband is "not bagay". hehe
when this sequel airs, i would treat it as a stand alone and not let my opinion on the prequel affect my judgement…
Totally agree! I love that word - depth. Hope this time around we get to see better scenes and acting especially from the main characters. (Less smirk and eye squinting perhaps?) I saw the original trailer and both BrightWin were quite good. Sadly, those did not end up in the series itself and instead we got - whatever that was in about the second half of the episodes which ultimately ended up with the underwhelming high-five. Ugh! Anyway, let's keep our fingers crossed if only for the prospect of this series having a better director based on the quality of his previous projects. Please don't let us down. :-D
Ooh! The director was the one who made Dark Blue Kiss and He's Coming to Me. Hope this means better quality for the episodes (and more satisfying ending also). Exciting times ahead! :-D
Just finished watching Episode 3. That was a good one. Things are definitely improving with this series. It is a longer episode and has more scenes than previous ones. I think with the lifting of the strict quarantine in the metropolis, it is giving more opportunities to shoot. Hope this means well for plot development in the succeeding episodes.
It still had that "indie" production feel but despite the seemingly lower production values, the show makes up for it with a fun script (though there are still some lines which were cheesy but I think it contributes to the "kilig" factor) and good acting. Kokoy is good (as usual) but "medyo nakulangan pa rin ako" when it comes to Elijah (I found Elijah's performance to be a bit lacking). I think Elijah's portrayal as the tsundere character is good and he got the "sulky" emotion down to pat but I guess I was expecting him to show other emotions coz it's already the third episode and it's kinda "nakakasawa" (sick of) seeing him in that state almost always. In any case, I am still excited to see how their budding romance will develop in the series.
There are two "things" that deserve special mention in this episode. One is the music. My gosh! I loved the song played by Gavreel. The melody and lyrics are not only catchy but also relevant to the show's theme. His tone could definitely use some improvement but I think that raw and honest performance is part of his charm. Second one is Pearl. I thought she was going to be the usual girl "third party" like other BL series. Boy am I glad to be proven wrong. She is turning out to be the supportive BFF. Yay! Her character reminds me of Yihwa from the BL series "Together With Me". Props to Adrianna for a good performance. You go girl!
Although the "babe" issue of the previous episode has been resolved already, this episode gives us a glimpse of the ex bf who will possibly be another source of problem between the couple later on. I just hope it will be satisfactorily resolved and we get a happy ending (unlike this other famous series which somehow had an underwhelming ending) . With all the fear and sadness that has been going around the world lately, I think we need to see something positive especially for Pinoys since we seem to be "making habol" (playing catch up) to Thailand and other countries in this genre.
Wishing all the persons behind this show the best of luck in the coming episodes for everyone's enjoyment. Mabuhay!
P.S. Attention to the producers and/or the makeup/costume department (if any). Please revisit the style of your characters especially for Elijah. Although I am not totally sure about today's fashion trend (especially with the ongoing health crisis), I do not see the headband for boys making a comeback soon. I don't think that it fits the image of Cairo since he is supposed to be a "gamer" right? I have tons of gamer friends and I haven't seen any of them wearing a headband whether in internet cafes or in their own houses. :-)
IKR! This is (and have always been) my go to feel-good BL series. It might be fluff and such, but I find it's…
I found Earth's portrayal of Wayo in the 2nd season to be like a stereotypical "girly" boy. That's why Bas is still the best Wayo for me. Not feeling Ben's Phana also. I hope he has improved for the 3rd season or maybe another cast change would also happen. hehe
In any case, excited to see Pavel. I hope there will be a future project for Bas and Pavel. I'm shipping those two! hahaha

This series is overrated. Honestly, the reason why this piqued my interest was their visuals and reviews however,…
Yes! You said it girl! Props to you.
I believe many who say that the acting of the leads were great are only fawning over their visuals. I mean who could honestly say that the constant smirking and eye squinting could already be considered good acting right? ;-)
To be fair however, I saw this trailer (link somewhere in the comments in MDL) where the acting of win and bright were quite good. Unfortunately, those scenes were never shown in the final cut of the series. Ugh!
I may have misgivings about the series, especially about the second half of its episodes, but I am still optimistic about the 2nd season. If I don't see any improvements in the quality, then I will be dropping it like a hot potato. haha
(Also my opinion - ;-) )I actually found the acting of Bas good. Unfortunately, Godt's acting was better when…
I always watch 2 Moons after I watch other more serious dramas like UWMA, HCTM, etc. I think I have rewatched for more than 5 times already. Just a light and feel-good series. haha
Pavel was so good in the second season right? Tough but sweet also. Ugh! He really should get more shows. :-) Hopefully the 3rd season would see better acting from the rest. Speaking of which, Bas, Cooper and Kim from 2 Moons should have another show together also. ;-)
2Moons is the first Thai Bl that I watch and love. This series is special to me. I feel nostalgia remembering…
IKR! This is (and have always been) my go to feel-good BL series. It might be fluff and such, but I find it's plot sweet and cute (notwithstanding some acting issues). I have watched it like more than 5 times already. I always watch this after watching some more heavy dramas like UWMA, He's Coming to Me, Theory of Love, etc. Just to have a sort of rest from the seriousness. haha
While the 2nd series have its own merits, this first season for me still takes the cake. I for one, like Bas as Wayo. I think he was better as compared to Earth in the 2nd series (who I found to be amateurish in acting and the character more coquettish).

I actually found the acting of Bas good. Unfortunately, Godt's acting was better when his character was still a jerk towards Wayo. I did not feel the sincerity of his supposed romantic gestures and jealousy. Kim and Cooper indeed had better romantic chemistry with their bantering as MingKit.
As to 2 Moons 2, I did not like BOTH the acting of the Wayo and Phana there. I found their acting dry and amateurish. For me the only saving grace in that series was MingKit and Pavel as Forth (IMO the best actor in 2 Moons 2 - why couldn't he have been Phana instead? Ugh!)
Just some suggestions (since I only got hooked to Thai dramas a couple of months ago) - until we meet again - he's coming to me - 2 Moons/ 2Moons2 - theory of love. - tharntype - addicted heroin - dark blue kiss - together with me - tharntype
