Done watching Episode 11 during the premiere a while ago. I had a stupid smile on my face while watching it from start to finish. LOL. I don't mean to be comparing it with the also popular Pinoy BL Hello Strangers (which I also loved btw for some reasons), but GB has a better plot and acting despite obviously having a lesser budget.
Ok I thought I was the only one. It was a terrible first start.
The fact that we are unsure if whether the acting was purposely bad or it wasn't intentional at all, speaks volumes. Maybe this is the end-result of having a series with poor production values, bad acting, lack of direction and subpar editing (if at all). I am just disappointed that it was shown during the time when there is a boom of Pinoy BL series. It kinda puts a damper on the whole thing. This certainly was a miss. Oh well. :-(
On Still 2gether, at least that fanservice kiss was already over and done with. Now, we could move on to the meatier scenes. I was actually more excited for the potential of the side couples especially Phukong and Mil. haha

I was really intrigued by other comments here. I was thinking like did we watch the same series? I felt it was like a mix and mash of disjointed scenes with bad and worse acting (or was that intentional after all? was that supposed to be a parody? I am confused.) which eventually made for an ugly tapestry of a series. I have watched dark comedies before and I loved them, but I really didn't get this one. Oh well.
P.S. I also thought about that with the Still 2gether cameo appearance of P'Jennie, but I guess what redeemed it was the kissing scene which happened thereafter because of the game she instigated. Well-compensated in the end. haha
It's Episode 2 and we are nearing half-way already through the 5-episode series. So far, I am loving the quality of this series. I have noticed vast improvements in acting, directing, editing and even styling.
The main couple have more chemistry now especially compared to the last few episodes of the main series. Much noticeable was Bright who has greaty improved his acting skills and not just the constant smirk and glaring eye-thingy we have been used to in the previous series.
I think the new director (who also previously directed Dark Blue Kiss) played a major role in this enhancement. The production values and editing was superb. I could even see the parallelism in the BrightWin pool scene with a similar sweet scene with TayNew in DBK (coupled with the hanging lights effect in the background. awww. how sweet right?).
The styling of the actors was also upgraded. Apart from better (and more) scenes from the side characters, their hairstyles and clothes were also nicer. I now empathize more with the Phukong and Mil tandem as well as with Type and Man couple. Honestly, I did not like their own storyline and styling in the original series especially with Drake's character (Mil) but now I actually find him hot including Frank (Phukong). Aside from these side couples, there were also noticeable improvements with Tine's friends Fong and Ohm. Like I was thinking to myself, these cute and dashing actors were there in the original series? LOL.
Over all, if this upward trajectory continues then I would dare to think that Still 2gether is getting WAY BETTER than the original series. Kudos to the producers, director, actors and other show staff for a job well done! Keep it up. :-D
P.S. It was really a nice touch to this episode by including the following: P'Jennie's cameo, BrightWin kissing scene, and TypeMan shower scene.

Thank God for this. I thought I was the only who did not like it. Some people say it was dark comedy or something. For me, the first episode was like... Uhm. I don't know how to describe it. It started out intriguing then it went downhill. Not appealing enough for me to await the next episode. Oh well. Maybe not just my type. :-(
This was by far one of the best series I've watched (and it wasn't even filmed fully cuz of Covid-19) and it was…
I agree. At first I thought it was just another usual fluff series, but eventually it had more drama and character development especially between Fighter and Tutor. Hope this gets another season or if not, more projects for SaintZee? :-)
2gether was filmed before the pandemic.Hello Stranger was filmed during the pandemic, it would be really irresponsible…
I guess I am just used to watching love stories (whether hetero or BL) where the main couple eventually kiss. Not expecting "Glorious" - type of kissing though. Even a peck in the cheek or forehead would have been sweet. :-) Or they could have employed camera tricks or whatever to simulate it? (I think that would be safer to avoid physical contact.)
I really liked the story of HS and especially loved the acting of JC Alcantara (Miko). This BL craze in our country is really unexpected considering it is still predominantly traditional and conservative. I hope HS and GM would signal a good start for other productions to have quality shows like these. :-D

Like I said before, I think the reason was mainly due to safety concerns especially because of today's health concerns. (Hopefully, it is not what others have surmised that it was because of other reasons.)
In any case, Gameboys (another Pinoy BL series) managed to do more than just a hug despite also being filmed during the pandemic. I think we have an apt quote on that one in Filipino: "Ang gusto maraming paraan. Ang ayaw maraming dahilan." (Those who want to there are many ways to do it. Those who do not will find excuses.) I just hope they make up for it in the movie. Even if not actual kiss, at least something more than just a hug. (crossing fingers)
They also had a sweet scene in the final episode but it was still mainly about XavMi. Hopefully, they get their own spinoff series. Or at least most exposure in the movie. :-)
But they will be having a movie. So who knows? Maybe that's the time they will finally show us the most-anticipated kissing scene? (Hopefully by then, it would be safer already.)
I was screaming "THANK YOU FOR NOT MAKING HER BE THAT GIRL". But yeah. Mico annoyed me in this ep. I didn't think…
I agree. Also, self-realization would have been a good opportunity for Mico to "grow up". Aside from the love theme, that heartbreak he experienced could provide an opportunity for the character to become mature. I just hope that issue would not just be swept under the rug all for the sake of #XavMi to end up together. :-)
Hopefully the producers read these comments for a possible Season 2 or a spinoff series? LOL

HS finale = hug
