MDL may be a "small ratings platform" but its always prided itself as not being as being a more mature, less extreme and less toxic platform.

Which is why many people consider it a great platform to understand more about kdrama.

This is not a fan cafe, or whatever they are called.

People here do not want to discuss the controversy about the drama nor do they want to discuss the controversy surrounding blackpink.

And this is why I don't visit twitter.

Too many extreme fans who are just way too sensitive.

The stuff and all of blackpnks problems bring jisoos fault is controversial and can lead to fan wars. Which can cause toxicity in the comment sections.

Lots of blink fans here, but notice most don't bring up the blackpink controversies for a reason.

What is happening with Haesoo reminds me of Master's Sun. When you watched that Kdrama, you didn't feel there was much romantic connection.

But through the BTS, where they had amazing chemistry off screen, it eventually spilled over to the drama.

It's not just the romantic chemistry. I don't feel the edge of your seat suspense as well.

And the jokes are either hit or miss.

I've gotten tired of the satire on toxic masculinity. I can only take so much shouting. Which is probably why I am not a fan of Makjang.

It's a few things. The lack of chemistry is heavily derived from the following things.

1. Acting

2. Characterization

and

3. Plot Situation

All of them contribute to the lack of cohesive chemistry.

I also feel that there is a lack of chemistry, except the one the writing forces us to feel.
