No, it doesn't get better. One could wonder who gave that woman the idea she could be an actress! But the ML is…
We have Kdramas that revolve around HS, or are called HS drama's that have more depth and complexity than the college girls in Snowdrop.
That's what irks me, they are using "But they are only 20 years old" as an excuse for their lack of complexity as characters, when we've seen many well written shows both in Asia and in the West that revolve around HS with much more depth than Snowdrop has shown.
As I've said before, cut the cast down to less than a 3rd, and work on the characters of those, and Snowdrop would have been much better.

The reason her acting seems to fall flat, is because her character doesn't move, until the ML tells her to. She's been given a one-toned character whose overarching plot is too dependent on the ML's.
If she was given an independent character, then we could have perhaps seen more range in Jisoo's acting.
Young Ro's character is basically a mirror at this point so that Soo Ho can feel bad whenever he looks at her.
But as I've said before, I give Jisoo a pass for Snowdrop, since it's her first time acting, and she's not that bad for a first timer.
But i'm not going to pretend she's the best actress or a genius actress though, because she's not.

I think Jisoo could have done better than Young Ro's character.
If she really wanted a challenge, she should have chosen Cheong Ya or Boon Ok's role. That's a true test of your acting chops.
It doesn't really take great acting to pull of a character like Young Ro, as your basically being pulled left and right by the plot, and the crying scenes have lose their power as it happens too often.
Take for example Soo Ho, his situation is much more unfair than Young Ro, so when we see Soo Ho eventually cry, it's going to be so powerful.
In comparison Young Ro has been crying almost every episode, it's kind of lose its luster.
I felt Young Ro's character had MANY MANY opportunities in the plot to prove that she can stand on her own two feet. But she just keeps leaning on Soo Ho, and blaming him.
Just to remind everyone, in Romeo and Juliet, while Romeo was proving his love in a very masculine way, full of male bravado and pride. Digging himself in a deeper and deeper hole.
Juliet was actually maturely thinking of a way out of their predicament. Her only mistake was trusting snail mail, otherwise the plan was actually pretty solid.
I felt Young Ro's character could have grown from a Naive 20 year old into a mature one. I never felt her really grow up. In fact, none of the hostages really did. Maybe it was just the lack that they never really felt they were going to die.
In comparison, the movie Battle Royale. They are all high school students that need to grow up in a matter of days. And they do.

More stars doesn't always equal better story.

My wild horse guess, it's Chief An
It's pretty one dimensional.
So she looks good in comparison.
The acting is the least of the problems to be honest. The plot and characters generally is weak.

More writer's fault than Jisoo's though.
Snowdrop is not a good indication of what Jisoo is capable of.
