Few clarification questions before watching What country is this drama set it? Does the main character have DID? What time period is it set it? I keep seeing conflicting reviews ( TДT)
So… why didn’t she just use her last wish to go back in time and save her grandma or stop that kid before the soul swap?? Like girl, you literally time traveled before to stop a serial killer and saved that other girl. You had the blueprint! What changed?? 😭 They didn’t even have to kill the kid, just tell his dad “hey maybe teach your son not to play god with souls.” Boom. Problem solved. The Genie literally time traveled for Ki Ga Yeong but suddenly he got amnesia??
And that ending had me losing it. Why did they think it was a good idea to end with Ga Yeong’s deadbeat mom insulting her and leaving her in the rain like it’s a discount K-drama? I wanted that woman to get hit with at least one emotional tax bill. Something. Also what happened to the dog?? Did he just disappear into the plot hole abyss? Why did nobody ever look under the lamp and see the date?? That was right there!
And don’t even get me started on that nosy old lady who got hit by a car. Did she just die like that?? No follow-up, no hospital scene, just “oops guess she’s gone.” 💀
So Ji Ni can throw hands with literal angels in a battle against God himself but can’t handle one bratty kid and his dollar store goons?? Be serious 😭😭 Bro fought celestial armies but lost to middle school drama.
Anyway Suzy’s still a baddie. 10/10 for her, 0/10 for the logic.
How is his grandfather blaming a child for the death of his parents?? His IQ must be room-temperature levels or something, because why are you doing that at your big age? I honestly don’t know how they’re going to redeem the grandma either, her grown self is just as complicit in neglecting a child on the anniversary of his parents’ death. That alone made her pretty unlikeable to me.
And let’s be real, this whole “fear of being caught” thing would end the moment U Ju and Me Ri actually got married and registered it; why won't they just do that? Ahhh, so frustrating! Still, I’m definitely waiting for the next episode tho 🤭
Oops she blocked me too hahhaha what did I even do????
It's really sad. She is calling opinions lies. I'm not sure how old she is, but this constant shaming of people who do not like what she likes is ridiculous.
In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with using a historical figure, as long as it's clear from the get-go that…
I appreciate your response. I’ll give you an example using other infamous historical figures. To be clear, the actors are doing a great job. This is solely a critique of the story itself.
Here goes: A Cambodian woman travels back to 1970. On her way to the city, she meets a handsome, brooding man named Pol Pot Oppa. He’s tall, has chiseled jaws, twenty-pack abs, and sharp fox-like eyes. He kidnaps her and declares she will be his slave. The woman knows full well the atrocities Pol Pot Oppa will soon commit, but it’s fine because he’s just misunderstood. Deep down, the real reason he became a mass murderer is because his mother once touched poison ivy or something. Anyway, Pol Pot Oppa and the Cambodian woman fall in love, get married, and live happily ever after in the future.
Obviously, I’m exaggerating to make a point. I completely respect your opinion and your right to enjoy the show. I also appreciate hearing different perspectives. I just wanted to clarify my stance. I personally do not believe that labeling something as fictional automatically makes the concept morally acceptable. I’m happy to elaborate further if needed.
