i really didn't watch any of these shows from start to end, so i can't comment, but if 50% of those shows are toxic, then they are toxic. it doesn't change the fact that media should stop romanticizing unhealthy relationships. two wrongs do not make one right. i don't know if you're a part of the lgbtq+ community, if you're not, then listen up. tv shows you listed are mainly about heterosexual couples, right? lgbtq+ relationship presentation is already non-existent in media, we started to gain more representation in recent years. so if they decide to show a relationship about a gay couple they need to make it healthy, not unhealthy. so that people can slowly stop seeing lgbtq+ relationships as a taboo/unhealthy/toxic/abusive/manipulative. i don't think it's something hard to understand.
i know from the firsthand that there are toxic relationships, there are rapes, sexual assaults, sexual harassment, and all types of things. there is nothing wrong to show these stuff, because they need to be seen. however, they need to be handled well in these series. they need to be talked about so that people can learn what is toxic and what is healthy in a relationship. some people know that it is not a portrait of a healthy relationship, but many people sadly do not realize this. and if you consider there are teenagers who watch these shows, even though they shouldn't, they romanticize these toxic relationship. that is what i'm talking about.
then don't turn them into tv shows ? <3 or even if you do, like this one, these shows need to show not be toxic. what to do's and what to don'ts, etc. for example, when your partner pushes you to get sexual even if you do not want to, your partner must stop. you know? these are basic and the most important things and can be taught through these series. but probably you will say: these shows do not need to teach anything to anyone. well, that's the problem. if you're not going to portray healthy relationship, just don't release them. <3
well I don't. I read the novel and Luo Yin's POV makes it clear that he wants GH, he likes having sex with him…
well, not everyone reads the book, so they should have been more clear about luo yin wants physical affection from gu hai. because everything seems forced in the show.
No she doesn't. Did you ever hear her say she condones rape and incest in real life? It's FICTION. It's not a…
i looked up if there is a name for this fantasy and found: "Consensual Non-Consent" as you see there is consent. but in the books mame wrote, there is not always consent between characters. this is what is rape, they are not roleplaying in the books, they are raping.

you cannot compare bdsm to your sick rape fantasies. rape can't be a fantasy because there is no communication and consent, bdsm has communication and consent, these two are the main parts of the bdsm. if you are talking about two people roleplaying "rape," like they both know one of them will be the top, the other one is the top and they will act like "rape," THIS IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, because this is NOT rape since they both have consent to have sex. i have no idea what the HELL is this fantasy is called. but if this is what you're talking about you're hella wrong. because this is not rape since they have consent

it is NOT okay to enjoy this fiction, keep it to yourself, in your bedroom. Rape fantasies should NOT be common among people because society already has enough of them. All of you who enjoy this fiction needs therapy. stop replying to me or i'm blocking you.
For the most part, no. However, Farm is shown in several scenes to be uncomfortable with his "partner(s)" but…
it was good to learn about the east perspective! and noo your opinion isn't dumb at all, it's so important to teach people like how you did! also i saw some tweets on twitter saying east and africa were much more accepting to lgbtq+ people than the west before whites/colonizers came and attacked east and africa. after them everything went downhill because how westerns view to lgbtq+ people. now it's funny to me how west tries to take back and erase the damage they have done to other parts of the world, like i said now west tries to leave this hetero-normative world but it's you who imposed these ideas to the east and africa... it's tragic

i saw in twitter that husband/wife thing is a cultural difference, but i didn't care about it that much because it made no sense to me. now i can understand this cultural difference that exists between west and east, and i live in turkey, it's in the middle-east. the main thing that irks me is, it is so hetero-normative. i know that everyone is aware of that. and i'm so tiredDD of living in a hetero-normative world that bl's became my escape point, you know? but again seeing this husband/wife is just... something that i wouldn't ever want because i had enough of them. for example associating being bottom and top with being husband and wife is also seems problematic? because why are you downgrading these things to being a wife or husband, or vice versa. in my opinion, west slowly tries to break this hetero-normative world, which i believe is very important, and east doesn't mind we live in a hetero-normative world. if i'm wrong please correct me. at the end, i believe we should leave these hetero-normative sayings, but if one is comfortable with this saying, then what can anyone else say? also thank you for your comment and video <3
the first 10 episodes were really cute, Gu Hai was just showing some anger issues but episode 11 and onwards took another level and i hated watching every episode, i thought about dropping it but i don't like letting shows unfinished. after finishing this i can tell, Gu Hai is an obsessed (almost) psycho. the story is nowhere closer to be cute or anything sweet. a few moments of showing affection do not justify his possessive and manipulative behaviors towards Luo Yin. one of the worst couples in bl world. i just feel sad for Luo Yin. if you're out of bl's and want to watch some, then watch it but you really do not need to.
i just finished watching all the episodes and i must say it might be my new favorite thai bl series. I'm not going to lie, there was a lot going on in the first episodes, everything could have been clear. there also could be only 2 couples, every other couple was cute but they were unnecessary. i loved how spiiiiiccyyy fightutor are from the first episode and how sweeeeeet saifahzon are. just give us a second season already.

or having those tropes in comics, in bl's do not make it okay.
