Finally, after so much scrolling through the comments, I found people who have similar opinions as me. I loved the Thames-Nueng story. I won't say there aren't holes in the story, but the script isn't great for the Kaew-Itch story either. So I'm choosing not to nitpick. But I would say after watching the Kaew-Itch story, Thames-Nueng's story is so much better compared to that one. Better pacing, better written characters, just better overall. Not to mention their kiss in episode 12 is one of the best (arguably the best) heterosexual kisses I have seen in a Thai drama. Too bad that this was the only good kiss they had, the rest of Thames-Nueng's kisses were just pecks on the lips.

Don't be fooled by the photos on the front page like me, Aragaki Yui is only a guest star in episode 1.

I started making a list about 4-5 years ago of Toei Tokusatsu actor romantic pairings in mainstream J drama/movies. Rin's was one of the first ones I had ended up discovering. The movie released in 2012 and I watched it for the first time in 2019. But it's the first one I ever knew of.

If I had a nickel for every time Takahashi Rin was in a love triangle with other Toei Tokusatsu actors, I'd have 2. And if I counted every time there was a drama where she gets involved with a Toku actor, and ends up with someone younger than her by the end of it, than I'd have 3 nickels. I better stop before I end up with a (hypothetical) quarter, because that would be the most painful (hypothetical) quarter I will ever receive. My list started with her, with the first time she got on it in 2012, and 13 years later, she is still a prominent member of it, appearing in it more than once.

P.S. I am glad I dropped it after episode 2, before things went south with Kinugasa. I can't believe I almost liked him in the first few episodes. So thanks to the commenters who mentioned the ending. *Shivers* 🥶

First off, NO OFFENSE intended to anyone who loves it. But I think everyone's (other than Aye and Jan) acting seems a bit bad(too stiff, not believable) here, at least in the 2nd episode. Especially Mond and Gawin's acting.
I know it's too soon to make any judgement right now, but what I've seen so far isn't up to the mark. Because I know these people are good actors. I know Mond is a good actor, but here he doesn't emote in even one scene. He's just gloomy and depressed the whole time, before and after Chat's incident.
Same for Gawin. I know he's the cop, he's supposed to be serious and professional, but even in the scenes with Pi, he doesn't show any hint of emotion on his face, which I expected to see considering Khem and Pi's history and whatnot. Again, this is my observation so far. I don't want to start an argument with anyone. This is more like a nitpick of mine.
Everything looks very promising here and I can't wait for the other episodes.

She was a bit rude and unprofessional at work, which is why people stopped hiring her. I don't know how true it is, because I heard it from someone else. This is the only thing I know and that's it. I took it with a grain of salt and I suggest you to do the same unless you do your own research.

Glad I'm not the only one who loves to see Mond and Aye paired up in dramas. Although I have a feeling that they might not be endgame in this drama. But I'm not gonna lose hope till the end.

Yes, the leads kissed in the final episode. Pointless, because they clearly chose to not be together at that point. But then again, I found too many things of this drama pointless, so maybe I'm just biased. Doesn't change the fact that it caught me off guard and I almost puked.

First of all, these are my personal opinions. If someone liked this drama, they have my full respect. I'm just sharing my own opinion here. So no offense intended to anyone.
Welp, that was my living nightmare right there. I truly tried going in with an open mind and tried to not be biased, despite the fact that this pairing is the last pairing I would EVER have wanted to see. But somehow, every time I say that, I probably jinx myself and something even worse shows up afterwards. So I believe this is the last time I'll ever say this.
Whenever I find a little bit of hope in toku actor-starring JP dramas, they ALWAYS disappoint. The story and format themselves aren't my cup of tea either. I realized after trying to watch this type of short drama that I prefer more fleshed out stories instead of brief ones. So I can definitely say that I tried it out before reaching a conclusion. That's that.
