Uhh, did they change this? I remember last watching MG 2018, and the ML is the one who chucks the necklace in a pool of water, and the FL gets hurt and looks for it like a maniac. And the SML helps. In HanaDan too, I believe Domyouji got pissed and threw it down the stream, and Makino went down the bridge, and looked for it. The fact that Thyme is the one left crying with the necklace, in the rain.... means they have changed something around that iconic moment?
