This is why she laments 'he's been having a bit of a growth spurt, and has grown stronger recently' because it's bittersweet to her, for him to grow bigger, and all her clothes finally not fit him, especially since they're going through a financial crunch! :'(

Seeing Tu's solo interview... I only hope the 5 of them have found friendship of a lifetime in each other! Hana Yori Dango, in a way, is such an iconic coming-of-age story, and early 20's is such a great time to make friends who will stick around! :D

I hope I get to see them grown up like this and following the footsteps of their predecessor!

Honestly, apart from the fact that Young-Ro has Jisoo's face.... Her character is EVERYTHING! I would be falling in love with her too, had I been Soo-Ho! 💖🔥

My only complaint.... why. is. it. not. in. HD? T_T

The biggest change in the Ren-Gorya-Thyme dynamic from all other versions:
-Thyme's narration of their childhood story isn't about how guilty or apologetic he is for being a jerk to Ren previously. You don't even smell a hint of noble idiocy from him. Instead, he offers an introspective outlook on his past behavior. He also offers Gorya empathy and understanding, saying he can see just why everybody around him, including her, loves Ren. Omitting the jealousy, pettiness and guilt makes him the bigger guy, at the end. The angle/tone of his self-reflection and comprehension of the situation is rather serious (& not comic) which makes you feel sorry for how starved of love and affection this boy is; whereas in other versions, viewers are like: 'okay, that's cute but he's a total jerk.'
Also, in the future when Ren comes back, you see just HOW petty an assh*le he too can be. -_-

Well, in HYD at least, she outright lied she was 'out at night with a guy' when teased by Soujiro/ Akira. And instead of just denying, she said she skipped work for 'family work' reasons. Which is why the ML thought she was 'deceiving' him, and refused to believe her. I kinda don't blame Tsukasa at this point though. I think I'm forgetting how much of an ass he is to her, subsequently.
They clearly changed the lying bit here, and I'm so grateful for that change. It's really like they nitpicked all her shady actions in the other versions, and kept her in the clear! ^^
