same =X AHS is rly bad in romance genres. Also the original TW script was written specifically for the FL, Alice…
Jung Ho Yeon (Sae Byeok from Squid Games) comes to my mind. She is an extrovert IRL, but her character Sae-Byeok was a lot like CYR?
I think she still can play a high-schooler convincingly. More than JYB, lol! xD

Don't give out the spoilers for Part 3, lol... ;P... But I remember you like Miles Wei :D
Ah, there usually is a dearth of highly anticipated dramas, as the year progresses after the New Year Celebration (general trend). Year-end, every company wants to make huge money and get raises, also is the holidays, so they can get max viewership. Same with summer vacation/ holidays... plan to squeeze in some dramas I will miss out on now, during the dry spells, lol! xD Live watching is pretty exhausting, lol! :P

PTW is never-ending ISTG!... Scheduling, as in on your MDL profile page, you maintain a pretty strict schedule when to do what... like writing articles, watching yt reviews and such... I really like how you're organized, and I decided to assign days of my weeks to diff activities too, hehe! <3

Haha, yes mgtv is notoriously late for subs! :/ I think there should be a drought of good dramas starting feb? (drought for me is anything less than 6 'good dramas' live airing, because then on the other remaining days, i can watch the older stuff i missed from the jam-packed period!) Hehe, cannot believe supporting actors and watching dramas requires a full time schedule! xD xD
Must admit, I got inspired from your scheduling! :')

Ah, I really don't have time for another 'fluffy professional c-drama' rn (fake-fan alert!) :P
but i do plan to check it out in '22, once all the good dramas stop dropping! xD

Thank you for remembering me here! <3 Miles again looks fantastic in glasses. He should keep them! <3 <3

Thank you Cho Na for this one! <3
I would have never known had it been for this article, that so many the actors whose works I follow, are indeed in the top 30! :'D Nice to see some familiar names here! Cannot wait for the next 2 parts of the series. Guess have to wait till part 3, to see Xiao Zhan, Yibo, Yang Yang & the likes??? :P :P

If he doesn't appear by the end, then it will be the first actor in the HISTORY of MDL who got credited as a 'guest…
SAME! Also mainly cuz Joe n Alice are the same gen of actors, and Joanne and FMB would be the next gen! ^^

It would be fun if GH doesn't appear as himself, but some side-character who's also a God. And the FL of course would be like... 'oh look, that God looks like GH!' xD xD

That Greg Hsu reference is always fun.. hahah... I hope he appears at the end... . So Far I'm loving this drama..…
If he doesn't appear by the end, then it will be the first actor in the HISTORY of MDL who got credited as a 'guest role' for a cardboard cut-out and a poster. How meta! xD

Oof, what a visually stunning article Cho Na! <3
I'm definitely inclined to watch this now, after finishing SD1D recently, and also after this post! :)
The synopsis and trailer had me worried this would be like a Taiwanese version of a certain recently released k-drama with cringe emo dialogues, inconsistent mythology, rules and world-building. But your article has convinced me that's not a problem here, plus I forget the 'serious' drama-makers in Taiwan are serious about drama-making, lol! ^^
The fact that it's by the same creators as SD1D is also giving me good hopes! :)

Fun Facts: 1. The FL here (Joanne Tseng) is the only 'ethnically minor' actor among the main cast.
2. Joanne cameo-ed as the fortune-teller in SD1D (the one who predicts no. 32 will be special to Yu Xuan)
3. Major spoiler for SD1D under 'Acting of Seasoned Actors'. DO NOT READ THE LAST LINE of the 1st paragraph! >.<
4. Everybody here wants to be Greg's babe! :') :P

Ooooh, a shotgun wedding; well that's new in k-ent! xD
Congrats on the baby, and on the upcoming nuptials!

I hope this ushers a trend/ era of k-celeb weddings, esp couples who have been holding out for sooo long, who want to 'get married' but can't! -_- Eagerly waiting for Woobie X Mina & BinJin weddings! <3

On My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday Nov 17, 2021
'What if the future has already happened, and the past is yet to happen?'

What a beautiful little story! I was pissed at Takaoshi when he suddenly wanted to break-up, and didn't see how accommodating Emi had been (living her past for every next day of his, going off a diary, just so that days could smoothly flow for the guy and seem 'normal' to him).....
And then it hit like a truck full of bricks. I have been bawling right since his 'every little first for me, is the last for her' realization. How often do we not see the 'other' side, just cuz we're so self-absorbed in our own feelings? T_T
Ugh, and it's so beautiful that each of them in their own futures walk those pre-destined steps, just so that they can have those 30-days together as lovers at 20. Choices..... do we choose pain and separation all over again, just so that we can experience those moments of happiness?

Hmm, what's disturbing is how the school refuses to acknowledge the distinction between the 'textbook smart' and 'real geniuses'. And they keep pushing regular school-topping kids for something like an International Math Olympiad which is clearly WAY out of their league. They want to win it, but somehow their scouting process and prep isn't serious enough. Do they expect bribe and win an Intl. Olympiad? :O
Also, there is textbook math, competitive math, olympiad-math, uni-level math, etc. It's silly to expect everybody on the 'Math Club' is cut-out to tackle all levels of it. -_-
My point is, you do not need to be an Olympiad winner to get into the best college in your country, esp since that seems to be end-goal for the parents. They just seem to want everything their kid can get. Sigh.
