He legit looks like how Bright Vachirawit would look at 40, if he started smoking now...
Wait, does Bright smoke??! (it's okay, even if he does, doesn't matter!) I meant the actor who plays the ex-fiance looks like a smoker, and he also looks like how I imagine Bright would look at 40. Is this a diss? I'm not sure! xD Just an observation! :P
Okay, first of all.... the love for Kang Chae-Ri on this comment section is because she's an interesting character-…
Imagine... if Chae-Ri decides to blackmail Yeo-Reum into being a 'wildcard entry' for Kingdom of Love? I think she's totally heading in that direction! xD
Yes! Did everyone who is saying she did it for her career get amnesia about why she was asking him in the first…
Haha, see! Healthy conversation and a little bit of thinking solves a lot of problems! xD I still think she should have got Jae-Hoon a last-minute body-double or something! :)
Yes! Did everyone who is saying she did it for her career get amnesia about why she was asking him in the first…
"Did everyone who is saying she did it for her career get amnesia about why she was asking him in the first place?!"
And how is Jae-Hoon supposed to know that? He isn't a mind-reader, and for the sake of some drama, the writers also do not wish to make Yeo-Reum communicate the actual reason to him. You do realize, she looks worse to Jae-Hoon, who doesn't know the full truth, than to us viewers, who can kind of sympathize with her because of the Ji-Wan thing. The point is, she could have A. tried to find an alternative. And B. In the case her idea didn't work out, spare Jae-Hoon the tough situation at the very least. (using a body-double? like get creative woman!! You're a PD!)
The point again is, she set the bar low, in their friendship. And no, calling her out on her BS, does not mean we are somehow okay or blind to Jae-Hoon's BS either. Or we are Siwon fangirls! (what even!) xD
Okay, first of all.... the love for Kang Chae-Ri on this comment section is because she's an interesting character-…
"If Jae Hoon wasn't so upset because of his feelings for her, he would've realized that she would not ask him to do this if she had any other choice..."
She shouldn't have asked in the first place, is all I'm saying. She could have come up with multiple other brilliant ideas to divert the situation, instead of putting Jae-Hoon in a tough spot like that. What about her being a 'wall' b/w Jae-Hoon and Chae-Ri's antics? I had hoped with her requesting him to be on this show, she would go an extra mile out to prevent Chae-Ri from making her best-friend into a national clown for the sake of ratings! You know, be a hero to Jae-Hoon. Not this. Even the assistant PD- the voice of reason despite his young age... thinks she should be looking out for him, and he practically saved her ass (career) by agreeing to be on this show! :/
We are collectively expressing our disappointment at the direction her character took! And I still stand by my earlier opinion. It's a dick move to ask your friend, who you obviously know has feelings for somebody else, to make-out on camera.
I'm frankly pretty pissed by a lot of the recent comments on here. Everybody is pointing fingers at Yeo Reum calling…
Okay, first of all.... the love for Kang Chae-Ri on this comment section is because she's an interesting character- she brings in the conflict, and ups the ante. We don't love her because she's the paragon of human virtue and we're dying to have her as a colleague. Like you said, yes, she's well-written.
In a similar capacity, we aren't hating ON Yeo-Reum, but rather the way she's been written in the last few episodes. A good number of us came into this, expecting to watch a pair of tight friends, the kind who are always like: 'I got your back, no matter what' go from platonic to romantic lovers. And so far, the dynamic feels off because of Yeo-Reum's actions, which makes it seem like Jae-Hoon is the one putting in all the effort, and she's always the first to cave in, ask for repeated favors and maybe even throw him under the bus. It takes a special kind of insensitiveness (?) to ask your best-bud, who you know likes Person A (which happens to be you, btw)... to kiss Person B. That's very inconsiderate, I wouldn't ask a best-friend to do it, ever.
Moving on... you say Kang Chae-Ri wouldn't have settled for a bargain, and thus, Yeo-Reum was left with no choice but to trade the kiss for removing Ji-Wan's confession. I don't agree. Chae-Ri is the kind who always prioritizes ratings over anything. Yeo-Reum's ideas, if they have potential, have convinced Chae-Ri before!! Yeo-Reum did not try hard enough to protect Jae-Hoon from this situation. She's a PD too, and she could have come up with a better idea to steer around the kiss-situation. Heck, if Yeo-Reum's kiss could be passed around as if it were Ji-Yeon, Jae-Hoon could have been swapped out too, behind the curtain. Or, she could have told him the truth about Ji-Wan's assault, and like you said, Jae-Hoon would have chivalrously stepped in to do whatever was required of him.
There were ways... but she tried to sermon him into doing it instead. 'In a society where one-night stands are so common, what is but a kiss?' Seriously????? Ugh. The writer has heck of a job to make Yeo-Reum come back from this. I know, all of this had to happen, so that we get a brief period of misunderstanding between the pair, where Jae-Hoon thinks of her as selfish, and willing to do anything for her show/ her job. There had to be a better way to navigate around this situation, but the writers decided to go down this route, and that is the problem.
And she tells the girl he likes to go away even if she liked him back...Like who gave you the authority... and…
We all thought KCR would let the kiss air as Ji-Yeon & Jae-Hoon, but man, is she a wildcard!!! She's truly the one who's pulling the strings, and Ji-Yeon is stupid enough to think, and even believe Chae-Ri wouldn't pull the rug from underneath her feet!!!!!! That was so satisfying tbh. Ji-Yeon: 'I consent to the kiss airing as if it were me!' Hahhh! You wish! xD
Half-way in, and I'm sure Chae-Ri is someone who wouldn't blink twice before abandoning a storyline in favor of a more spicy plot. Anything for those ratings man! <3
Finally watched ep 3 and I just can't bring myself to hate Minato. I never disliked him from the beginning because…
I think Tsumugi loves both people in different capacities, and that's totally okay! :) Agree... I hope Sou is spared more pain. His lady-friend is kinda annoying how quick she is to jump to conclusions into bad-mouthing people from his 'earlier life.' :/
It's hard to hate on Minato although he broke the bro code. I mean he probably even thought Sou broke the friendship…
Let us not forget the beautiful friendship of Sou & Minato that lies underneath all those tears, toxicity and misgivings that went down in ep 3. Tsumugi is only a part of their problem. Had Minato not been dating her, I still believe, he'd have a reaction to similar capacity. I would be pissed too, to be brutally cutoff like that.
How is Tsumugi pushing herself to Sou's life? In this episode both times she met with Sou, it was because Sou…
Bingo.! very well written characters, and human to almost a fault! Tsumugi started out as a cookie-cutter female lead, but she isn't as perfect as she looks!
One of my favorite moments of ep3. is Sou telling Tsumugi 'I feel bad, we should not be meeting alone' while meeting her alone, to say that. Gosh, these two puppies! T__T
Everything you just said! I couldn't agree more! Even if she wanted to try again, the fact that he wanted to rush…
Speaking of the ill-fitting ring being a red-flag.... did you notice how the fiance gifted her a pair of shoes? In some East Asian cultures, that signifies a person running away from you.. so a no-no gift for a significant other, for sure~
Maybe I'm old is why I understand the FL. She wanted to be married and have a family. And the truth is that she…
I think the lady from NYC ended up being pregnant with the fiance's child. That is why the plot had to have the wedding preponed to within a month, so it adds up with the timeline of that girl finding out about the accidental pregnancy! YR is probably called off the wedding, cuz he hid this from her?
I meant the actor who plays the ex-fiance looks like a smoker, and he also looks like how I imagine Bright would look at 40.

Wishful thinking :P
