I don't really understand your comment. Do you not agree with my complaints? Yes, you're right about her exploring her family while the ML focuses on finding the killer and saving himself. But she is trying to be a force of change, from the moment she starts interfering in the past to give her mother a better future.

I think it's very interesting that many people are getting upset over my opinion when I also took the time to sit down and watch the show. If you read my review I spoke about how I was uncomfortable about the misogyny that I saw in many other POSITIVE reviews. I also focus on way more than just the FL's behavior. I like that you ignore everything I said about the show dropping its heavier topics in favor of being another serial killer rom com. You ignored the obvious erasure of commentary about disabled people's struggles and depression. You ignore everything about the ML's lack of individuality and the way that he's ready to DIE for a woman that he barely knows at almost the half point of the show. You also ignore Kim Taesung's lack of development by saying the FL "helps him in her own way" what way? By telling him off a couple times in their childhood? Thats enough to be considered actively helping? The only person FL is truly invested in is the ML. So yes she is selfless in regards to him.

I layed out most of my issues in detail and you still find a way to misconstrue my statements and try to turn me into another "girl bad" reviewer. I don't see how "illogical and unserious" are NOT valid critiques.

Why do I have to watch the female lead say mean things to the male lead and then immediately get sad about it and have to go outside on the day that she knows something terrible is going to happen to her, instead of just either messaging him over the computer or calling him or waiting until the very next day so that she can apologize in person?

Why do I have to watch a female lead wear a white puffer jacket that we only see her wear twice to an official meeting with an actor that she's supposed to be apologizing to, when she got arrested for wearing the same jacket five seconds ago? Why are the gags so abundant in a drama that got most of us hooked because we thought it was actually going to be something special! We kept watching hoping that it could be as good as that first episode just one more time and it never happened.

Romcoms are FINE, but this drama wasn't a well balanced one.

I am guessing its pointless to argue with someone who is stuck on being different and hating on a character this bad. I rather not argue with people who can't understand media literacy. <3

if this becomes the most famous version that's 100% because it's korean. no other reason. because no matter how hard they try, it won't hold a candle to the original. so it's nothing great to brag about if the only reason this drama becomes more popular is because it's a korean production. if the acting and storyline was better, it being the 'famous version' would be more acceptable but that's not the case. the korean version hasn't improved the original's in any way. it only is getting more attention because it's korean.

yeah ig if it works for you..... personally being 22, a recent graduate with a new full time job, I just cant imagine myself with a high schooler. especially having a younger sibling who is in high school ig. its still a cute drama tho.

first episode in and idk how I feel about the ages. I read taboo romance and dont mind age gaps but the fact that the younger one is barely an adult is not settling with me......

edit: I am not talking about the girl having a crush when she was young. I am talking about he 19 and 24 ages. younger one I mean out of the main two characters (the guy and the girl) and not the two actresses that play the fl.

I remember having this lil high school crush on this neighborhood guy 6 years older than me so I understand that its a silly lil crush and nothing wrong with the middle school or high school secret crush she has on him. but 19 and 24 to be into eo is still a very weird age for me. I wouldn't mind if it was 22 and 27 cuz then both are actual adults even though they have completely different perspective on life.

Thank God m not the only one who didn't like this story . He was very arrogant and selfish while blindly in love with him in every situation......I wanted him to suffer for FL..... I didn't even bother to finish the whole drama . 4/10 from me 😑

I know! They keep putting her in boxy suit jackets, that make her look like like she forgot her trousers. Luckily Bai Lu is so beautiful, but wish she was better dressed. The stylist for Victoria Song currently on "Our Interpreter" is fantastic. She looks chic, professional, feminine and gorgeous. Bai Lu's stylist should learn something!

I think in the drama they won't make it too cringe. Since bai lu took that role, I'm sure she would pick good script not cringey.

How far are you into Flower Of Evil? Because while he is like this in the beginning, it is waaaaaaay different as the whole story and his character's layers are peeled back, bit by bit. And tbh, i have rarely seen a ML who is so ride or die for his drama wife :D
