Ok - plotwise and "policewise" it was all over the place, BUT: it was still very enjoyable with great action scenes and great acting. And hot guys, obviously.
Maybe it was a bad translation, but I really hated the moment in which Atom told Half that he likes Thap, and Half answers "you are normal. people who think this stuff is abnormal, are abnormal". I so so so hate when they use "normal/abnormal" words, what does "normality" means anyway! It take us back centuries!
Also am I crazy to actually like the painting. Everyone is hating on it. Am I missing something lol?
I like the artwork too - I mean, it did feel like the classic "well-made painting without anything that stands out" at first, but the roses somehow gave it a new perspective: it's as the painter is watching the seaside from behind a window, giving it more "humanity" and making the viewer a part of the painting.
I started rewatching this series out of some kind of weird nostalgia for the pairing MekMark... I never really liked Mek but I liked his performance here and FahPrince moments were so nice! As many other series, as I remembered it went downhill in the second half with many useless cliches, but still it's a good drama. <3
Uh - ep1 was kinda better then ep2. It's basically the party of the year for cringeness, cheesiness and clichèes... but Mos looks so great in a white shirt that I can forgive (almost) anything.
The acting is pretty bad tho'... Mos is doing a nice job but Bank's character is so badly written that the poor boy will have it tough making it decent. Sigh.
Fingers crossed for ep3 but my expectations are getting lower and lower.
Great episode, Up nailed all the scenes--- this man rocks. And Poom too, they are both so expressive!
Sidenote: if I were in Joe's shoes, I would have kicked Sol&Wut out of the room during this episode! They kept saying "stay chill" while his own body was cremated... what?? How can they even only think that could be easy?
Episode 10 preview: Tong is the worst person ever. He is the definitive a$$#0|e.
this drama is always a mix of emotions... there are plenty of things that could have been done better (i might be absurd but WHO SLEEPS TOTALLY DRESSED!), in less clicheed way or in a more attentive way... and yet, I could watch these guys act lovey-dovey for other hundreds episodes more and never get tired of their cute interactions!
PS when Pond and Boom are together on screen, there is so much beauty in the frame that I can't stand the shiningness!!
PS - I don't understand either Kang's nor Shone's hate: 6 months have gone by and it's only natural for Shone…
you're right :) while watching these sort of series, sometimes I feel nostalgically thrown back to when I was 18yo and I forget I'm not there anymore! XD
PS - I don't understand either Kang's nor Shone's hate: 6 months have gone by and it's only natural for Shone…
But they broke up. It's life. It happens. You are in love, yet you have to break up. You are in love with that someone and you know you probably can't forget this person for your whole life... but still your life goes on.
I pour water to my friends. I feed them sometimes. I'm playful with them even without flirting. Or maybe, playfully and friendly flirting. People fall in love even when not corresponded and they want to be kind even when told not to.
I don't know, I can't understand the "OMG HATE HATE HATE!!!": I live this everyday and it totally doesn't feel something strange nor something to hate. It's just how life goes.
Yes, this drama has pros and cons and yes, this episode could have been better... but jeez I'm 37yo and I'm desperately…
PS - I don't understand either Kang's nor Shone's hate: 6 months have gone by and it's only natural for Shone to try and flirt with Kang, and Kang clearly refused his offer! So what's wrong? Have you guys never lived in real life?
Yes, this drama has pros and cons and yes, this episode could have been better... but jeez I'm 37yo and I'm desperately crying over Moo's sadness (can't believe Keen's a rookie!!) and Kang's forced distance... this series is not perfects but it's filled with so many beautiful moments that make it rich and deep and relatable. I will so damn miss them after next week!!
Woah, what happened in this episode?? We basically got everything and also the opposite of everything! o.o I was over the top for DeeYak moments but everything fell apart out of Dee's non-sense choice (who in his right mind would go to another person apartment and sit for meal, when waiting for somebody at home with dinner ready and set??).
Dee and Yak: their pain and sorrow and confusion was so intense, Inn&Great acted terrific!
Best character of the episode: Cher. He deserves more screentime, he's really growing on me!
Smells like Yai will have troubles after this loss...
There is no character in this story (except maybe P'Wut) who is 100% in his right mind, everyone is somhow toxic, just with... different shades of toxicity.
That said, more to add: 1. Poom is the most beautiful man on earth 2. Joe#2 is the opposite (well not really, but I bet they could have managed a "better looking" actor to fit the mood... what about a Kao cameo, that would have been great!) 3. I might be the only one who can't stand Sol
This episode was a bit confusing in its first part, and "THE REVELATION" was a bit poorly executed... but I fear we'll get big things next week!

Best part: Dr Ter left alone by Dr Khwan!
Sidenote: we needed more Plakao screentime!

Personal note: Sea managed to be more and more beautiful as episodes went by!
And I just love Louis, hope to see him in many other projects! <3
