It's a nice one! Sometimes funny, sometimes sweet, with loveable main characters. The premise of a character seeing premonitions is intriguing, even though we're on ep9 and we haven't really had any explanation about that yet.
To me it gives off UWMA vibes, but way less dramatic and tragic.
That onion cutting scene was so simple yet so powerful!
Loved this, I bingewatched the last three episodes and, although it somehow lost itself a bit in the middle, it was an amazing coming of age story with beautiful characters (kudos to the cast, they did a great job!). Japanese love/sliceoflife/comingofage series always have this smooth, soft aura that permeates everything and that I really love: every little thing feels meaningful, and it's just like being immersed in a calm river that envelopes you and lets you flow along with what's happening.
This was one hell of a ride, and I can't wait to have an entire free day to bingewatch everything to glue all the pieces together.
I loved the ending: I loved how it did not really explain "everything", leaving us partially with our own interpretations, but still putting all the pieces together and showing that, in the end, even if it's true that sh!t happens in life and you cannot really control it, it's also true that people's different attitudes can change how things go.
BOC has an amazing roster of actors, I really hope they can keep producing great series in which the main point is the story and plot, more than the "it's just a BL".
And now: Bas. Main lead. When? This guy rocked all his scenes and I cried rivers with his acting, he needs and deserves a main role.
Cute and fun episode, love how all of them relate & talk - but, the only thing I could really focus on was shirtless P'Yu with those skinny black jeans... he's one fine boy!
Uhm, what happened to Diew's mother? In the first episodes she was all on "make friends! go out" you can't stay in your room all day!"... and now she acts paranoid? o.O
Anyway, love love love God! He's such a cute big friendly giant! I just can't not love him!

I think the "knock knock" part was a reference to one of Shan's novels - in the earlier episodes Obaun lies and says he's not a fan of Shan's and has never read his works, while in reality he loves his work... so that "knock knock" is basically a quote from a novel and by doing that Shan realizes that Obaun actually read his works (which are all about "someone waiting" for something/someone, just like Shan is waiting to meet Obaun again after ten years)
I usually watch this one as it goes, but yesterday I was so damn tired that I wouldn't have enjoyed it enough... and I'm happy I waited, because this episode was so simple yet important, with many confrontations and important turning points for both Ryan and Jane.
I love how Ryan and Jane are complementing each other: Ryan is learning so much from his mentor, and Jane is reminiscing of his old dream and he's finally getting the courage he needs to walk his own way. The rice scene was so smooth and simple and intimate but that moment of sharing was an open and relaxed confession that warmed my heart. And, although I would have loved to see a more developed kiss scene, it still fit the moment and the cozy atmosphere.
All the people in the crew have a place in this series and will have a place in my heart. <3
Yes, I know almost nothing makes sense, BUT this week's episode was so beautiful! Loved the xia's moments as always (I want that blue sword, it's so damn elegant and epic!), and... man, TutorYim. <3

This show is a huge mess but, for some reason, it's one of the ones I wait the most during the week, and this episode made me one happy and giggling kid. XD
Bingewatched everything and I'm happy I did! It's such a charming series, all characters are loveable and their dynamics flow and develop in a very natural and relatable way - plus, they are aware of their feelings and desires, which is a nice change among many series in which 20/25/(even)30 yo guys are shy to admit they want to do something (read: everything) with their boyfriends.
I hope we can keep the trend of "positive people in dramas" (yes, P'God from MND, I'm also thinking about you!), with good communication and vibes. Yay!
Just started bingewatching and I think I lost something: Yu and Yo are brothers, right? And they are orphans, living next door to Ai, who's the only son of a christian priest. Ing is just a close friend to them, and with a love interest on Yo. Correct?
I'm only on ep5 and honestly, I was expecting much worse given the comments and the ratings: it's a very classic…
And, finished! Again, it's not as terrible as I thought it'll be, on the contrary - made me laugh a lot, smile, giggle and care for the characters. 7.5/10 for me, I've seen waaaaaaaaay worse!
I think the main problem for many people is Jade's characters, who's over the top BUT is clearly on the spectrum (English is not my first language, so pardon me if writing it like this might sound offensive): Yim gave it his all to act with the whole body, with his lips, his hands... I think it had to be a very challenging role.
I haven't read the novel nor I've seen the previous series (Bed Friends - but I will), so I don't know how Jade's character is in the novel... but I really really liked the fact that he was not "just a goofy nerd", and that Mai (and all the friends and coworkers) understood and embraced that.
That said: TutorYim were lovely, I liked NetJames too and their dynamics as an already established couple in this series. It's a fun thai romcom but there are some very nice, heartwarming and deep scenes (as I said before: ep5 coming out, ep7 coming out at work, ep8 honest dialogue about ex boyfriends...). Nice songs for the OST, the direction and editing were pretty average even tho' it didn't look like a low-budget series... that's a pity because the idea perse was pretty nice (reminded me of "Kahogo no Kahoko", 2017 Jdrama) and I loved how Jade's character became braver and braver but still being himself.
