Off is not the classic "goodlooking guy" with the perfect face but that's what makes him so attractive! Plus he's…
I understand your point, but the nice thing about "liking" someone is the fact that it's a point of view and a personal taste. I don't label "masculinity" as a synonym for "attractiveness" - I find a man (or a woman) with charisma much more attractive than one with just looks, which is the case with Off (for my taste, as said).
Holy moly, the amount of negatives notes of this drama is way higher than the pros... the plot isn't that bad but the execution is so sloppy, with the most unnatural dialogues ever and cringe moments every split second... Mos looks great but Bank, for as much as he might physically fit the role, is acting so forcefully AND his lines and the worst. Poor guy has to probably act the worst script of his life (hopefully, because I REALLY hope these two might get a good drama in the future...).
Someone please delete the two friends from the scenes: they are rude, intrusive, disrespectful, terrible at work, even stupid at times. The girl is especially annoying.
I keep on watching for our lovely MosBank but I fastforwarded almost half the episode. Sigh.
Loving this! It incorporates and mixes pretty well comedy, workplace, and looks like romance will slowly start next week... everything has a natural flow and pacing, and I love it: as much as I understand that it's for narrative purpose, I always hate when the characters meet and PUFF! they fall in love... here they need to open up and get to know each other, and themselves.
Off is as stunning as ever. This man is so damn goodlooking!
Two things I take away from this episode: 1. Ryan doing the "voices" (I couldn't stop laughing! I seriously didn't…
Off is not the classic "goodlooking guy" with the perfect face but that's what makes him so attractive! Plus he's getting hotter as he gets older, he's such a beautiful and sexy man! <3
Why did it drop below 8 in the blink of an eye? Love the production and the cast, the ladies are damn gorgeous I don't know who to be more in love for! <3 Hopefully it won't get lost along the way but there are already so many possible problematic points...
Tong is probably one of the worst antagonists in drama world: he's sly, vicious, nasty, and a coward who keeps changing answers trying to make the most out of every situation. He's way worse than those "openly bad"-kind-of antagonists.
This drama might not be deep, or original, or creative... but it's a gift of smiles and happiness at every second. I love watching it because for those 45 minutes I know I will immerse myself in a bubble. And can we talk about how beautiful these guys are? Pond's smile should be considered one of the World's Wonders, and same goes for Boom's expressions!
Great start! Gun is a chameleon displaying so many different expressions in this first episode! And Off's glances weighted more than thousand words!
All the characters look fun, I love a good character-driven drama and I expecially love the fact that they are working (young) adults! Fingers crossed it doesn't get lost in the hole of clichees...
this is just bad/lazy writing. in the manga and japanese LA version, their convo was more heartfelt. it goes on…
yes, it felt pretty abrupt too - they could have managed it way better, especially since we're starting to have quite a few good examples of good communication in coming out scenes or acceptance moments.
As a gay person, I can tell you, many times in my life people have told me I wasn't normal because I'm gay. There…
Thanks for your point of view! I can actually understand it, but I feel using the world "normal" keeps underlying that there is a difference between two things/situations. For example: I'm a non-cis single mother of an autistic child, and what I keep hearing is "normal families" in contrast to my allegedly "non-normal" family (which has always been only me+my son, fullstop). But as long as people (even doctors or specialists!) keep saying "normal/abnormal" we'll never get to the point where it doesn't matter who you decide to love, or even create your family with. (I don't know if I explained myself correctly, sorry)
I think choosing a positive set of words is even more important in a drama that is meant for a teen audience.
Sasaki was such an hilarious character, I hope we get more cameos from Luke in the few remaining episodes because his crazy energy made me laugh so hard! XD
There are so many things about this episode, like the emotional kiss on the forehead or the beautiful love-making scene... but the only thing I can keep on thinking is: UP is so damn beautiful and talented!! He keeps getting more and more stunning at each episode!
