This episode was basically happiness, for all the boys in different shades and ways.
Pond has the most beautiful smile ever: he was smiling in such a pure and happy way during the birthday surprise that I genuinely cried out of happiness for him! Plus, he really is a labrador in disguise! XD
Pond/Phuwin's chemistry is insane, they are so comfortable with each other, but for some reason Phuwin has some kind of issue with kisses and in this episode was pretty evident: he was frowning/being nervous so much right before the kiss at the birthday (part 3/4 around 4min)... and on a sidenote: WHY THE PLASTIC TULIPSSSSSSS!!!!!! I swear I hate when they gift plastic flowers! Is this a Thai thing, or is it just lack of details from the props' crew?
So we'll never ever know the face of the third brother? A guest cameo would have been a great plus. I know he's not GMMTV, but I could really see Tul as Phum's and Fang's older brother...!
TanFang are my cherry on the cake: they are funny, cute, sweet but not diabetic (this is something we say in italian, sorry if it does not translate correctly in english but I mean to say "sweet but not overly sweet") and their dynamics developed perfectly from ep1 to now.
I feel Chain: he needs all the penguins in the world, and probably plenty of other birds too! But that's ok, I think it fits the development of this couple... they basically were "too much friends to understand that they were in love" trope. Didn't expect the other two friends to hook up.
Personal MVP: Pepper. I love Beer as a character and I love Pepper as an actor. He deserves one hell of a leading role in which he ends up with a great relationship.
Jdramas hit differently - with the utmost calmness and simplicity, these first two episodes managed to create a wonderful, huge bubble in my heart for these characters to live in. <3
How was it?I can't find any decent one for me to watch,I go to every ongoing bl page to comment the same how was…
Pretty cringe and with a confused execution, up to now. If you're a MosBank fan you can watch for them, otherwise is pretty plain - as of now, ep4 just came out... maybe it'll get better when the plot kicks in (fingers crossed!)
Off is not the classic "goodlooking guy" with the perfect face but that's what makes him so attractive! Plus he's…
I understand your point, but the nice thing about "liking" someone is the fact that it's a point of view and a personal taste. I don't label "masculinity" as a synonym for "attractiveness" - I find a man (or a woman) with charisma much more attractive than one with just looks, which is the case with Off (for my taste, as said).
Holy moly, the amount of negatives notes of this drama is way higher than the pros... the plot isn't that bad but the execution is so sloppy, with the most unnatural dialogues ever and cringe moments every split second... Mos looks great but Bank, for as much as he might physically fit the role, is acting so forcefully AND his lines and the worst. Poor guy has to probably act the worst script of his life (hopefully, because I REALLY hope these two might get a good drama in the future...).
Someone please delete the two friends from the scenes: they are rude, intrusive, disrespectful, terrible at work, even stupid at times. The girl is especially annoying.
I keep on watching for our lovely MosBank but I fastforwarded almost half the episode. Sigh.
Loving this! It incorporates and mixes pretty well comedy, workplace, and looks like romance will slowly start next week... everything has a natural flow and pacing, and I love it: as much as I understand that it's for narrative purpose, I always hate when the characters meet and PUFF! they fall in love... here they need to open up and get to know each other, and themselves.
Off is as stunning as ever. This man is so damn goodlooking!
Two things I take away from this episode: 1. Ryan doing the "voices" (I couldn't stop laughing! I seriously didn't…
Off is not the classic "goodlooking guy" with the perfect face but that's what makes him so attractive! Plus he's getting hotter as he gets older, he's such a beautiful and sexy man! <3
Why did it drop below 8 in the blink of an eye? Love the production and the cast, the ladies are damn gorgeous I don't know who to be more in love for! <3 Hopefully it won't get lost along the way but there are already so many possible problematic points...
Tong is probably one of the worst antagonists in drama world: he's sly, vicious, nasty, and a coward who keeps changing answers trying to make the most out of every situation. He's way worse than those "openly bad"-kind-of antagonists.
This drama might not be deep, or original, or creative... but it's a gift of smiles and happiness at every second. I love watching it because for those 45 minutes I know I will immerse myself in a bubble. And can we talk about how beautiful these guys are? Pond's smile should be considered one of the World's Wonders, and same goes for Boom's expressions!
Great start! Gun is a chameleon displaying so many different expressions in this first episode! And Off's glances weighted more than thousand words!
All the characters look fun, I love a good character-driven drama and I expecially love the fact that they are working (young) adults! Fingers crossed it doesn't get lost in the hole of clichees...
