Same here - I liked this episode better for pacing, acting and overall mood. I still feel like Gemini and Fourth look a bit too mature for these roles, and this adaptation lacks the energy and charm of the japanese one... but we still have many more episodes ahead.

Yes, it does start to feel a bit draggy, BUT... I could watch PhumPeem for hours and never get bored of their dynamics, they are just so natural with each other! PondPhuwin have such an amazing chemistry and these are their best roles! Even if the plot and the characters are the most simple, everything feels so embracing and relatable... <3

This episode felt a bit "fragmentary" with not the smoothest tranistions between scenes, but we covered all the couples almost equally and that was a plus.

Honorable mention: Beer. I just LOVE this guy. He's cool, sweet, kind, warmhearted, honest, hot, smart... he might be my favourite character in this series! And Pepper rocks!

I agree on this, we know the boys are strong and determined and their love "will conquer all"... but still, I think it would have fit the mood of the series to show them fight the sadness and solitude head up

Honestly what really bothered me was the time skip: I would have loved to see at least Moo's reaction to the break-up during work and his consequent change of attitude (and maybe Shone's emotional support?).

And Tae/Yos? And even more: Yos/Jang? What?
I'll admit I did not like Tae at first and I totally did not root for Tae/Yos... but the sudden "yeah let's be friends because I think too much and you think too much too" was so strange.

I love Moo's mother. She's working in this same business and she knows, but still she treats both Moo and Kang telling things normally and not bossing people around.

Might be predictable, BUT it was what logically needed to happen AND it was acted in such an amazing way by these two young actors, especially Keen (but Sea gave it his all too!).

The synopsis sounds a bit confusing but it looks promising... plus the actors did a great job in the pilot! Hope they get enough funds for the whole project!

I was really looking forward to this but the first episode was below my expectations... yes I laughed a lot and yes GemFourth delivered, BUT when compared to the original japanese it was underwhelming.
Ep1 was cute, funny, great acting, but the technical execution was so slow and patchy and in some scenes even confusing. o.O

I know I will love it through the next episodes because all the actors are great and their dynamics are fun... fingers crossed for next episodes!

Up is such an amazing actor, I already watched the ending of episode 7 four times and I keep melting at his tears.

After this HS I came to really love Sea: he's one of us! Clumsy and fun, sweet and such a good friend!

You know what I really love about this series? The small, little details and behaviours - at the beginning of episode 10 when Peem wakes up and he just can't stop smiling and acting stupid while washing his teeth... that's so cute, and feels so real! Everyone who has been in love can relate!
I love this smooth vibe where tons of things are happening but at the same time nothing big ever happens... everything just "flows" and we flow with it.

And the boys: how come everyone looks so damn beautiful in this series? *_*

GMMTV, now that he's joined the team, please... main role! He deserves one, he's such a great actor!

Best communication and mature drama ever: this one! We finally have boys who are (up to now) able to talk things out in love, family and friendship! They speak, they notice each other issues and grow closer naturally day by day.

This episode was a little gem, and I especially loved Shone behaving like a real friend would, instead of being the usual "i'm the bad guy trying to steal your boyfriend and telling you to leave him for your future".

Yak's ones will soon wore out too, since he's wearing them every single episode :D
