No, the romantic relationship is contextually implied. This is a censored BL.
I posted the answer to the levels changing/not changing/differences a few messages back. The levels may not be the exactly same, but can be similar or they can differ greatly according to the players actions.

Lanzhu was choosing to accompany Jiushi, it was always his choice, not a rule in the game that he could or couldn't, doing so was just higher risk.

Yes, they can skip doors, but going into higher door on someone elses 'turn' as it were, puts a lower level player in extreme danger. For example, imagine you're playing an RPG and you've achieved level 20 in skill, if you try to enter a level of the game meant for players with level 50 experience points, you'll likely die. Like, almost guaranteed. In the Door World, the risk falls on the person who's turn it is as well then, if they try to assume responsibility for taking care of the lower level player. Lanzhu was willing to risk it for Jiushi, like the older twin was willing to risk it for his brother.

The rule for not bringing things into the game applies to things like weapons, devices and such, not harmless person affects. If that were the case, things like jewelry/accessories and other misc items people have on them wouldn't be present either. Considering deceit is part of the game, making certain fake items is probably allowed. I will go back and check this latter most point to be sure, I've forgotten right now lol

The first theory would be the reason he saw those people while in a coma was because he unconsciously saw them in his daily life without realising it and without knowing them or every meeting them. They all technically existed around him.

The second theory would be similar to the third, it's that he was never out of the game world, not until the game was purified, then he was actually finally returned from the virtual world.

I personally go with the first theory (in the series). I can accept that Lanzhu was just a computer program, it makes more sense. I have the novel to know that Nanzhu was SO MUCH more. lol

TDJ doesn't have a sad ending! It has a great ending imo :D It's one of my fave shows of all time, even including some western shows.

Yeah UTS is not highly supernatural, it's mostly just a detective show lol depends on one's taste if they enjoy it or not.

Title Revenged Love Spoiler
I've heard in novel chi cheng and chengyu both tortured xiao's ex
That's what friends are for >:D what else if not to help torture the asshole who abused your current love interest in their past relationship so that said love interest realises your friend is the one for them. This is in the Best Friend slash How To Be a Great Wing Man handbook.

It's amazing how different taste works. This episode was 90% filler but I enjoyed every minute of it and I still rewatched it twice, will probably watch it again tomorrow without subs, to properly enjoy the visuals. Filler in a show, when done right, is just as entertaining as the main story. I was entertained. Some people didn't like it, but I loved it.

Some thoughts from this ep:
- I really felt it for Chi Cheng there for a moment when he saw Suowei's shadow on the wall. I know what this arc was in the novel, and I'm glad they altered it. I mean, CC has been cheated on before, imagine his head space in that moment when he saw the shadow? D:<

- Chengyu has the patience of a fucking saint, and I'm not talking about his patience regarding getting into Xiaoshuai's pants, I'm talking about his high tolerance dealing with XS's miscommunications. He's so focused on pulling strings, protecting, fanangling, flirting/teasing and playing out different scenarios for the long game AND apparently doing his job too, that he's not being direct about the things XS's miscommunicating. I'd be like 'Let's sit down and have an actual conversation about US.' And okay, I get that he's navigating unknown waters due to the incomplete pieces he has of XS's life puzzle but ffsssssssss. lol I think I'm just eager to see Chengyu catch a break aaaaaaand get a leetle closer to XS.

- Gangzi ah Gangzi 🫰 you're a loyal adorkable gem, truly.

- Suowei's gesture for Little Vinegar is legit awesome, that's the kind of thoughtful gift even I'd find VERY attractive in a partner, and I don't even like getting gifts from anyone. But it's the understanding depth of Chi Cheng and what Chi Cheng values that was important in that scene. It showed more of where Suowei's feelings emotionally and mentally are, because sometimes his actions contradict his feelings.

Loved this ep, keen for tomorrow!

P.s: I don't think this comment contains any spoilers, but let me know if it does, I'll put it in a box.

Just appreciating RL in real time, we're so lucky to have a some proper Cn BLs in 2025. Can't help the old thoughts popping up though, that if we'd gotten even so much as a simple kiss in The Untamed, the internet and fandom would have been perpetually shook.

Same thought! This show is not bad, but also not as good as others currently airing. This show, although enjoyable,…
Yeah, I have been doing a lot of skipping through the last two eps. Objectively it's a fine show, subjectively, I just don't care what's gonna' happen next. lol

According to my rating system, I'm giving this an 8/10, it's a well done show, but I'm dropping it because personally I'm bored and I don't feel invested in any of the characters at all, not even the mains. The actors and crew did a good job though, filming and acting wise, even if some of the writing fell off here and there. ✌️

Well that's possibly because there are different interpretations about the drama ending. The ending of the series has three main scenarios as of now:

1) Comatose Jiushi wakes up and everything was a dream, so he spends the next 50 years creating the virtual world he dreamed about so he can see everyone one he dreamed of.

2) Jiushi had entered a virtual game world, then he 'wakes up' back in his reality after having purified the game, and the virtual world ceases to exist. Lanzhu included, he ceases to exist as he states he would in ep 36. So he spends the next 50 years creating the virtual world he experienced and the people in it, as a comfort for his loss before he dies.

3) Everything that happens in the series happens inside a virtual world, and after the virtual world is purified, everyone from the real world who lived/died in the virtual world returns to the real world with all their memories wiped and they go back to their normal lives.

Which one do you feel most likely fits the series ending? You can decide and maybe that can help you feel more satisfied.

from what i remember from the novel this 2 had the most healthy bond he did not took it as a reject, because as…
Well thank fuck the author and script writer seems to have changed that too, because CY's whole reaction was different. He seemed angry at what he was hearing of XS's distress (at least that's what I thought his reaction was like). The remade series is really much better.

This 100%. His ex probably told XS he couldn‘t stop himself because he was too horny/into XS. And now to XS,…
I think XS is already more than halfway in love with CY tbh, he just needs that other trope, the common miscommunication one, to be sorted out, then they'll be aces. CY will do so right by him! They look so good together!!

Random RL thought of the day:

Can't remember major details of the novel, but the whole thing of XS suddenly thinking Chengyu doesn't like him and considering the way fanfiction tropes usually go and how XS's past is written regarding his ex, I gotta wonder whether XS thinks CY isn't interested in him because CY had the 'opportunity' and didn't take it.

People/victims of fucked up relationships with messed up imbalanced physical and emotional power dynamics, and obviously of abuse, can be really confused or touchy about their value to other people and where the lines are. Dunno if I'm over thinking it, but I've seen this particular emotional back tracking scenario in storylines many times before. He possibly thinks that if CY really wanted him, he wouldn't have stopped despite the dubious situation, because XS's ex was an abusive pos who wouldn't have stopped.
