Wow, that's very committed 'pirating' lol to sit and screen record each ep uninterrupted is wild, whotf has that kind of time to waste.

You won't regret it, it's a totally different, yet equally great, experience.

Not sure what level of urgency you’re looking for bc I believe this is the 2nd time you’ve mentioned the lack…
I wrote a long reply to this, but then I realized it's just about how different people are affected by the level of depicted 'suspense' in a show, and that sums it up. Personally, I ain't in suspense with this show, I'm just watching it for Pond and to see what the solution to the curse will be in the end. That said, I'm open to surprises, maybe this show will have a twist.

Fun fact: Gao Dawei is a plot device created for the series, he didn't exist in the novel. There is no virtual game in the novel at all, it's a real alternate world. So there was no reason to place visual importance on Gao Dawei's character in the series, they just needed a character to refer to as the game's creator who had a personal connection to Jiushi.
Gao Dawei was in fact played by Xia ZhiGuang, the same actor who plays Ruan Lanzhu.

Oh yeah, hundreds of comics by now, better to stick to the movies, there are only 3 after all lol

We all have our lists of faves, long or short! But yes, those kisses in Just Friends? were epic, makes me wonder wtf happened to new KBLs and their often sad kisses lol

Title Leap Day
Ngl, they're losing me a bit.
A lot of this episode was predictable and once again there were many points that didn't carry enough urgency and also accuracy that would have made the scenes more impactful. I don't wanna mess up anyone else's experience so I won't list what I found problematic about this episode, but seriously, it's getting less tight in flow and events as it goes on. Maybe 12 eps is too much, the fact that all of this is happening NOT anywhere near Leap Day also takes away from the urgency. 80% of the acting is still good enough and I'll still watch next week, but there's a high possibility of a downward trajectory for the quality of this plot.

Yeah I definitely had to call it quits on some shows recently....I'm looking at you Lost in the Woods and Boy…
Yes, that was...a choice. That's a very good way of putting it. lol I actually quite liked Boom visually (I remember him from back in the day acting in Bad Romance lol) but together I wasn't feeling them too much.

If you didn't feel like it was for you then that's just how it goes, it's not a life changing show anyway lol nothing majorly missed out on, no big loss. There is plenty out there to watch, something for everyone :D

MARK is making that show watchable. I haven't seen you in the comment section over there, but me in those comments I'm just like "I'm watching this, that's all, fight me" LOL no regrets, I hereby shallowly admit I am only watching it for Mark. But yes, wow, it's frustrating how the show is going absolutely nowhere!

Yeeeeah I dropped it, ultimately I got bored, no matter how well filmed/acted it was, I just couldn't stay interested in the storyline, it was very meh lol AND I also wasn't interested in the main pair visually. It's probably a 'Gasp!' moment - I know, but yeah, it is what it is.

Understandable about Heesu, I enjoyed it, but I know it wasn't good for everyone, but at least you dropped it right? Didn't hang around in the comment section trying to ruin it for everyone else πŸ˜‚ As for Sweet Tooth Good Dentist, I won't even pretend, I'm literally only still watching it for Mark. I can be very shallow and I ain't even gon' lie, his face card goes hard. The show itself is pretty ass LOL it's barely a story, barely much of anything really. We're in the same boat on that show! πŸ˜†

"Knowing when to step out is key." ~~ YEP, 'if you don't like something, just dip', it's pretty simple. I wish the crowd over at Heesu in Class 2 understood that. THAT was a mess. Glad you're enjoying this one, I like this genre for sure, but like, yeah Mon and Kim might have kept me around. I enjoyed Love Sick 2024 because I liked the main pair a lot, I just can't get into this one, but that's not reflection on the actors or show, just different strokes. I mean I dropped Top Form, so no judgement on who drops what πŸ˜‚

Oh yeeees. Comic DP is the BEST. I have read ALL the comics of Deadpool, still read the new ones released nowadays. Movie DP is different in quite a few aspects, and not as dark either, but still, amazing in a whole new way and Ryan Reynolds managed to keep many key points of the character since he's a fan too. If you're into dark humor and some good heavy action, you'll enjoy it for sure.

And thanks! I am glad you like my profile :D I saw yours too, are you a fan of Taxi Driver or Lee Je Hoon? If it's the latter and since you're into BL, you should watch the short BL with Je Hoon called 'Just Friends?'.

I love Deadpool from the comics first and foremost. Comic DP > Movie DP every time. That said, the movies are awesome, too. 11/10 would recommend IF you have a dark sense of humor and appreciate a morally gray main character.

Finally someone agrees with me this is a noooo noo l have tried heaven knows l have tried driven by the high rating…
Yup, it truly doesn't have a single hook-point, one whole episode and nothing made me say 'oh!' or 'that's interesting'. I didn't even have any facial expressions while skipping. So yeah, sometimes we have to know when to step out for our own sakes πŸ˜†
