Episode 5 was the best yet imo. A lot happened, and yet it didn't feel rushed or forced and it was lit! It also moved the plot and point: revenge, gangs, enemies, deception, all the moving pieces, along nicely. I like how complete every scene is, how they follow through on thoughts and problems and conversation in the scenarios and they're keeping the tone consistently SERIOUS, not slacking off on the topic to try and 'lighten' the show up, which is great. The drug world is ugly and what people will do for money is even uglier.
Glad they found Mei, but that is a Girl Interrupted (kudos to you if you know this reference). Something tells me she's not just gonna get her shit together easily.
And hell, I didn't trust it the moment Kawin suggested what they should go after. As for Sun's brother, called that too, he is a pos. I feel like even if he knew Joe is responsible for the hit on his father, if someone gave him enough money, he'd sit quietly and say 'yes, sir/no,sir'. Spineless.
I enjoyed the confrontation between Sun and Peace, I feel like Sun doesn't yet realize how messy things can get, but Peace knows and now that Sun is involved and he sees what his father is up to, he has to start deciding how much he hates his father and whose side he's gonna settle on. I also like that both Sun and Peace can throw down in a fight, no 'damsel in distress' shit here. They can stand up to, and against, each other. That could get interesting! Also, Tim and Tan are BROS FOR LIFE.
Pity about Aim, I wish he wasn't rapey because everything else about his sociopathic character is quite entertaining and I like him, BUT, like Ramsey from Game of Thrones, I liked him too even though he was rapey, SO I will just enjoy the other parts of his character, and in the end, just as with Ramsey, I'll be very pleased when Aim gets what he deserves >:D hehehe
Also, fuck the rating, whoever is responsible for it, you're drunk, go home.
It was huge, it also paid homage to a lot of former Marvel castings that got overlooked as the MCU developed AND Ryan gave us a decent Gambit (another fave Marvel character of mine) by casting long time Gambit fan actor Channing Tatum in the role, and he NAILED it. It's a great watch. I even made an FMV for it. Do you like FMVs?
You've gotta be careful with trusting the ratings and negative comments on MDL though. A lot of the ratings on here are often based on fan favourite actors and disregard whether the show is actually any good or total shit lol. *whispers* hence why so many GMMTV BLs have such undeserved high ratings. LOL
What an unexpected but fantastic second pairing! I did not see it coming but as someone who usually doesn't like additional pairings I am quite pleased with BOTH pairs so far. I also like the conversations and steady communication on all characters parts in this. I will say, I had imagined the first kiss between the main pair to be a little different considering the build up of tension between them, it seemed a little rushed? But it was still a good one. Nice episode.
This episode pacing and dialogues were once again, all great, it all felt right and necessary and was acted well. I also like that they showed how Hei overheard him without being found in the room, simple yet totally plausible. Bai is so fantastically stubborn and Hei is so fantastically loyal, their reunion felt quite effortless in many ways.
I loved the idea of Bai 'sneaking a boy' into his room, it just seems like peak 'eff you grandpa, you can't tell me what to do' behaviour LOL. And that hand of Hei's subtly shaking hand at 25.22 as he stroked Bai's side when Bai's injuries hurt after Hei flipped him was 👌👌👌👌 It's really the little things that can carry/make or break a scene. The haters gon' hate, but I'm loving this BL, even with it's silly farfetched plot, it's better than so many other BLs by far. Fight me.
Meee tooo. I haven't started this yet but your comment makes me look forward to it.
Isn't it funny how Western swimmers always look like they skip leg day, but never the Asian swimmers 🤣 but yeah, mature actors are rare and great, I'm officially here for Nankrai and TK, Victor is invalid.
Okay, so, I'm gonna need Victor to get the fuck back on that bus rn and be gone because I don't care about his general existence. This needs to be about Nankrai and TK or we're being robbed.
Like all adaptations, they take as much as they feel they can from the source material and put it into a film/TV show. I'd say the first two Deadpool movies are about 70-ish percent accurate to the comics as they currently stand, give or take. The Deadpool & Wolverine movie is both highly accurate and also an original story, in that it's a film made up from several aspects of different Deadpool comics and Wolverine comics storylines, all smooshed together in a wild amazing adventure that stays true to Deadpool and Wolverines frenemy relationship in the comics. Nothing important is not canon, ultimately, it's all just tossed in a bit differently.
I watch BL like a watch LGBTQ, only if it entertains me, I'll drop anything in a heartbeat if it bores me or I find it too bad to watch, regardless of the country it comes from. When it comes to het shows, I can only watch them shows if I REALLY like the female actress and/or the straight pairing, otherwise I can't be bothered. For example, the Chinese drama Blossom recently. I found out about it because of Xia Zhiguang, but he's only a support character in it, the reason I actually watched it anyway was because I like Meng Ziyi. But yeah, difficult to find the time for all the stuffs. I don't even have time for my hobbies anymore, so I feel you lol Adulting sucks.
In the comics Deadpool has interacted with almost every character in some way or another. The movies cannot include ALL of the things that happen in the comics, but I hope he cameos in Doomsday because he's got plenty of ties with the various characters currently in the movies and TV shows. Anyway, it's a rabbit hole, the comics, I mean.
About KBLs, I don't favour them personally, I'd take Chinese censored BLs over Korean BLs actually lol, and even Taiwan and Thai BLs, but everyone has their own faves! I do prefer KBLs over JBLs though, I don't like most JBLs. The 8th Sense and Semantic Error are my fave KBLs, The 8th Sense is pretty high on my recc list actually. I really like Lim Ji Sub!
Many people only learned about Deadpool because of the DP and Wolverine movie, they don't even know about Deadpool's team up comics with Cable, Spider-Man, Thunderbolts and X-Force, or his own team of mercs, the Deadpool Corps, and many and many more. Anyway, I'm hoping to see him cameo in Avengers: Doomsday.
Yeah! I dunno what happened in Korea after that time, how they became MORE homophobic, they went backwards and gave us dead fish kisses instead. It's so dumb. Every now and then we get a decent kiss BUT nothing on the level of Just Friends?. lol We can stop talking about it XD

If you like het dramas, how'd you get into BL?
