I just saw this clip on Twitter just now, I can't say I see anything you're talking about, I just see these guys chilling and building confidence to sing, but I do know it was hilarious to watch and wow Tian is not good at singing 😂 but I loved watching him have fun and go with the flow. That's me at karaoke fr, off key but still singing loudly af 😂😂 Karaoke is a lot of fun like that.

Picking and choosing which bts I want to watch, and the KTV fight bts is hilarious, they were having fun pretending to beat each other up with sugar glass bottles and feathered pillows 😂 so unserious, all of them, but the scene turned out quite good over all. Some parts should have been kept in though! Some of the cuts would have been nice in the show, would have added more drama to the scene!

Keen for the final ep. I like the angst and hurt, bring it on >:D

I skimmed this discussion and I could be wrong, but I think the misunderstanding here is that apirbn means 'they are not co-branding' as in 'they're choosing not to do it [don't want that kind of attention]'. They're saying (according to their view) that the main pair of RL are choosing not to do any co-branding or joint promotions, while you're saying they're not doing it because of the government restrictions stopping them.

JFC this show IS NAILING IT ON ALL FRONTS.

- Beautifully written and delivered dialogue, I mean, I'm listening to and feeling every word
- The contrast in the characters younger and older demeanors are also so well done, especially Zi Ang.

Just, like, damn. Serve after serve. I loved ep 10, it was somehow as good and yet better than 9 at the same time. Eps 1-4 can really mislead how good this show will get, it's about the LONG GAME ya'll. From ep5 this show hasn't missed! Even the time skips flowed so well with everything.
Kill me slowly, yespleasethanks, I live for angst. I degaf if it's not a happy ending at his point, the show stepped up for real.

BIG ICK. Damn, I am officially glad I never read that shit. SE was great just as it was, the lack of NC scenes (even any newly written ones for the adaptation they could have done) was fine with me. The show delivered just as it was. Yeah, I don't get female Asian writers and their obsession with rapey stuff between M/M characters, it's like western female writers uninformed obsessions with every kink under the sun that they barely understand, all between M/M characters. Weird.

They actually did the same thing in some other countries works. The most prominent one that always comes to mind (and that I am super grateful for) is Together with Me. The wattpad trash fanfic original was so full of gross rapey shit, the whole story was ick, in the adaptation the basically just took the base of the characters and overhauled the whole story into an orginal lol

Oh yes, the jacket scene was very nonsensical, the teacher was actually dressed quite well for being on TV, I guess the jacket was needed to further the plot of finding the stomach medication but yeah, not a great writer's moment lol

Are you telling me the original Semantic Error also had dubcon???? Ick ick. I had no idea. SE is one of my fave BLs (one of the few BLs with a great height difference too, just the right amount), knowing the original had dubcon, I can't even imagine where in the story! Best not to I guess. lol

Haha! Lucky for me, I don't read webnovels/webtoons from SK anyway (I think the only one I ever read was Killing/Stalking -NOT A BL...but incidently, still rapey) but other than that, I've never read any graphic novels out of SK, so I don't have to worry about encountering that rapey stuff.

I finished ep 4 and enjoyed it, I'm mostly just trying to ignore the excess height difference at this point, they don't seem to be over doing emphasizing it in the show (I don't know about the graphic novel/webnovel) but it's just one of those things in the show, they just are that short and that tall. lol

For me, the teacher's behaviour doesn't come off as childish, it's actually more of a toned down fangirl vibe, he's not totally fangirling, but he's walking the line. I like him though, he's pretty spastic and funny.

I didn't know about the dubcon in the original, but glad they left that out for sure. Asian writers seem to be lowkey obsesses with rapey stuff lol

Yes, I do not like the 'taking care of' trope when it's overdone, I only tolerate it sometimes because it seems like it can never be avoided. For me, the infantilization thing is more of pain in the taking care of trope, like when the one person hurts his finger and then the other acts like it might kill him so he dotes on him, feeds him, cooks for him, shelters and talks to him like a lost kitten or child, and all that weird shit. I don't find that appealing. It annoys me even if it's presented in GL or het shows, that whump/paternal care trope is very off putting, it's just ick to me. It's very prominent in Thai BL, and somewhat present in others.

AH I was right about the ulterior motive. I lol'd when the teacher answered, "I don't have a partner." totally clueless of the fact the singer now thinks he's a lying skank 😂😂😂😂
