Woah. I'm honored. So happy you guys read it 😃 ❤ . I usually don't feel like writing, but bad buddy is an exception. Its a rabbit hole we both have fallen into. I guess there's no way out 😉
According to OhmNanon, The kiss scene we saw is just a shorter version of what they actually did 😳
Never mind the kiss scene. They did us dirty with the hand holding scene. It was so brief. I feel like ranting since yesterday. It was such a cute scene and it was cut short
I completely agree with you. Pat has no fear. Its not like he's naïve. He's completely aware of what he's doing.…
I think, the guitar reminded him of his separation from Pat and how they were not meant to be together. So in the initial days when he was not sure about their relationship, getting rid of the guitar might have helped him keep his mind off Pat. Yeah I too need answers about how Pran called him to the rooftop
The first point!! It hurt even me when Pran was about to confess as an obligation to his friends. They’ve been…
Yeah it's really appreciable that you noticed that. Because from the surface, the rooftop conversation seems like a normal one. But as you said, it contains a lot of fore shadowing
I can hear my heart break reading this 😭 When Pat snaps back, it's going to be a mess for both Pat & Pran.…
Yeah. That xylophone scene has haunted me too. Just because he's smiling doesn't mean he doesnt feel pain. People are saying the guitar scene wasn't resolved. But if they do look closely Pat sure wasn't happy. This would lead to futher development in the coming episodes. Pat would point this out to Pran that he was being unsincere or something. So it's under the rug for the time being and all a part of the plot
As much as I want to stay away from angst theories, truth be told, Bad buddy Fandom is speculating that the developments in Episode 7 will result in Pat snapping earlier than expected. Here's why:
1)The confession:
He was deeply disappointed at the fact that Pran offered to confess to him to get him to play in the drama. Confession as a leverage didn't seem quite right to Pat so he stopped him midway. It's because he knew the confession had no romantic feelings associated with it but only needs and wants.
"WHY WOULD I WANT THAT?" Pat baring out his emotions. Why would he want something when he knows that Pran isn't completely invested in it. Why would he want a confession that Pran has been dangling infront of him to get him to oblige in the way he wants?
2)The guitar:
Pat and Pran at this point in time knew what the guitar signified in their relationship. Having held onto it dearly for 3 years, he felt betrayed when he got to know that Pran had given it away to Wai without second thoughts
3) Pat struggling to hide his feelings:
After having realised his feelings after so many years Pat is finding it difficult to restrain his out and about attitude. He's being pretty vocal in everything he's been doing. From elaborate confession to dimples scene in the classroom projector, he's leaving no stone unturned. Pran is quite the contrary. This has been paining, Pat since all he needs now is assurance. It must've been such a blow that Pran would've rather walked back to the director empty-handed ( to be forced to beg the other guy to come back) than give it to Pat at all. But Pat still showed up for him.
4)Pat being Manipulated in his previous relationships:
Paa has talked about Pat being manipulated in love at least twice and that has been bound to leave some scars. Scars that will reopened if Pat feels like Pran's not as invested as Pat is. Especially since Pran tried to manipulate him when it came to the show.
"YOU TRICKED ME HERE FOR WHAT NOW?"
5) Pran always giving in to Wai and his unreasonable demands
He was obviously disappointed overhearing how Pran bends over backwards for Wai, and does favors for him, who is certainly not that great of a friend. And then there's Pat for whom he's clearly not willing to neither acknowledge infront of parents or friends nor put up a fight. Notice how Pat deflated when Pran went up to talk to Wai and not him at the football practice.

"IF THAT GUY DIDN'T QUIT THE PLAY, WOULD YOU STILL WANT TO SEE ME?" [laughing but his eyes don't look happy]
