You're right. Pran absolutely has some mental issues and he uses these emojis to deal with them. A smiley face.. simple yet deceptive, the choice to be in full control of his emotions. Probably he lost all emotions due to the trauma and takes them as a placebo. Rather than creating emotions himself, he derives them from an external source.

You're right. Kudos to a relentless Pat in ep6. The emotions shown by both of them were very realistic.

It's very disheartening to know that people are not trying to comprehend what is truly going on in the show.
Its pretty evident from Pran's evasiveness that he was clearly not comfortable with the idea of being vocal about their kiss or their feelings. Why? Because they've always been this way (spending time without having to admit anything)

Pat sensed Pran weighing down by romantic implications of their closeness because it reminded him of all things that are forbidden and not meant to be. That's why Pat took this physical and non-verbal approach to get him talking. Its beyond doubt that Pat was hurt by his evasiveness. Still he respected his decision

Its pretty tragic that Pran's memory about the kiss in the opening moments of episode 6 shows him recollecting the moments of him kissing Pat and not the other way round.

Imagine having your life long crush reciprocating your feelings, but all he could think about in that moment is how he had failed his parents, friends and his obligation to stay away from him. How he could foresee the ill fated cycle of his separation from Pat and pain repeating.

How he desparately wanted to have Pat as an enemy rather than not have him at all. Such a fundamental slip even after repressing his emotions for a long time. No wonder he just shut down

Surely so. It will be great if more dramas like this highlight the plight of people and the reality of the situation that people are faced with. Because its just not about fans shipping cute boys together.

Pat and Pran's conversation on the beach really kinda hurts.

"Speaking to you nicely - I don't know how."

This goes on to show the kind of intense rivalry their families had invested themselves in and how very ridiculous of them it was to pass it on to the next generation.
Pran is telling him, albiet implicitly, that he's not ready for this conversation yet, that he doesn't know how to interact with him when they remove their rivalry from the table.

All this while he had only communicated through insults, teasing, shutting him down at every chance he had got. Expressing his innermost feelings is something Pran is definitely not used to

Moreover this line "I have got him confused about his feelings for me".
Does Pat not really know that Pran had been in love all this time? It makes sense considering how he just cleared the air, instead of feeling remorse about having earlier admitted that he liked something else. Did he think that it was awkwardness that was making Pran push him away ? Since they had been physically close earlier also, but now their closeness has sort of romantic implications.
PAT IS TRULY OBLIVIOUS AS ALWAYS

Do you know that even the dialogue "When people are around talking to you seems like a matter of life and death" is to highlight the struggles and pain of gay people and what they really go thorough on an everyday basis in the society.

But Pat did wait until Wai's friends came to his aid in the past. Why would he try to gang up on someone like that? Pat maybe annoying, but he does have some principles.

Usually in shows indirect kisses result from the same old drinking water from the same bottle. Bad buddy has had innovation up its sleeve here too. The show has the audience whipped for a valid reason.
