Pran surely had his reasons

1) Pran was the one transferred from the school leaving him with the impression that Pat was seemingly unaffected by the whole ordeal.

2) Pat's sending mixed signals. Pran thought that it was his fault that he misinterpreted Pat's signals since he flirted with both him and Ink. Pat had no sense of personal space when it came to Pran

3) Stay away from me (for my sanity) .. lie by omission . Pran was in a one sided love for a long time. Since he thought that Pat won't be returning his feelings he wanted to stay away to keep himself from falling harder for him

4) Pran is a timid person afraid of confronting his parents and friends. He had been suffering in silence after being separated from Pat. He had no one to turn to neither his parents nor Pat. He knows the consequences that comes along with loving Pat. Hence he doesn't want to repeat the ill-fated cycle again. ("If we know how it ends isn't it better not to start at all ?") .He figured out being in one sided love might be better since it would be easier for him to forget Pat

5) Inspite of Pran turning his back on the audience to sing to Pat , he didn't understand that the song was dedicated to him.

True youre right. The scenes were well paced. They could have easily wasted 2-3 episodes for the denial phase, but fortunately didnt do so. Your doubt is justified, Pat might have just wanted to touch Pran. He might be impulsive, but he has never made a move on Pran against his wishes

I think it was Pat's way to try and get under Pran's skin and evoke a response infront of Wai. You bet he knew Pran would be hurt. He just wanted Pran to admit that there really is something going on between him and Pat. He basically wanted acknowledgement and also wanted to make Wai insecure in his relationship with Pran. Because now Wai will think his best friend is keeping things from him.

As someone had earlier said, Pat himself was insecure in his relationship with Pran.
Pran's treatment of Wai and his friends + Pran's indifference towards him (jinx, bad luck) = Pat's Insecurities. He kind of wanted to get back at Wai.

Not only ITSAY. 2gether and Tharntype heavily depended on fan service to get them through. But if you open youtube you will rarely see Ohm nanon offering that kind of fan service.

I simply can't get over Ohm's glaring eyes seething with pure rage in the drunken the face off with Wai. The way his eyes became dark, the way he smirked, the way he twisted his eyebrows......every move he acted it out to perfection. Who would have thought that cute Pat had this side to him. Been replaying the scene for 3 days straight now.

Its true they are not offering fan service. But I guess people are way less bothered about the fan service . This is the first time I guess I'm seeing something like this. I often feel like watching the drama rather than watching Ohm and nanon moments.

Yes , you're right. Its best that we cherish the bond that they share and fully support Bad Buddy till the very end without speculating about their dating lives. Hopefully fans will continue supporting them even after the show ends

True, many a time I have had urge to watch the drama rather than Ohm nanon's interactions. Speaks volumes about how talented they are at their work. Hopefully after Bad buddy, fans would have a healthy view about other actors and their ships as well.

See that's the thing. It's simply not okay to mix up reel and real life. But it is true that many resort to fan service to increase the popularity. Bad buddy goes on to prove if the story and the characters are well written and impeccably acted out , there is no apparent need for fan service, because people are already invested in the story of the two boys, Pran and Pat
