You're absolutely right here. Many resort to fan service to make their shows famous. Bad buddy is a different case altogether. People here are so immersed in the story and the characters, I guess they won't be caring about their dating lives

It is so satisfying to see people obsessing over Pat and Pran as a couple rather than Ohm and Nanon, because often its the other way round. Furthermore, music of this show is legendary. The show wouldn't be what it is without
its background music. Does anyone know who the music director is? Im curious.

I totally get you. But love in any form should not be considered as a taboo. Hopefully Thailand will continue to show the way for the rest of the Asian countries

Its really sad considering how even viewing a show depicting same sex love is treated like a taboo. Makes me wonder, do the gay people really get to be as happy as shown in the shows? Everyone should have the freedom to do whatever they want with their lives. Why do other people always have a say in our lives? I sure hope this stigma will come to an end one day.

Surely there's some privacy issue right there. Moreover these side characters do not contribute any thing significant to the plot. In this respect, I simply adore each and every supporting character here. You can literally see how loyal and supportive Pran's friends are. Pat's friends might be hot headed but they too will soon come around. All of them are equally contributing to the plot here

THIS. This is the exact thing I'm talking about. In every Thai bl there is a sort of fan club shipping hot boys together, stalking them clicking pictures. Seems so very superficial. The hot boys too don't have a history or valid reason to fall for one another. They exchange glances a few times, stare at each other's lips and lo behold they're in love.

"Come here". This line has been stuck in my mind for quite sometime now. Some fans are speculating as to why Pat said that.

Pat's eyes were on Pran the entire time. He had just realized his feelings, he was angry and hurt and jealous .At that point, he just wanted to tell Pran, he wanted to tell the world how he felt. He was drunk, but more than drunk, I think this is just part of pat's personality.

He is impulsive and loud and straight-forward.Pat was so in love with him that he desperately wanted to blurt it out. The Consequences? He would deal with them later on.

During this scene, he doesn't care about Wai eyes are only on Pran. He isn't angry at Pran's words, this is just how their relationship usually goes. Insults are just another way of flirting. But then Pat steps closer with an intent to tell him or even kiss him Pran stops him right in his tracks.

"Shit! What's wrong with you"

It was at this moment Pat snapped because Pran reminds him of the reality he's living in. (being caught up in a rivalry they never intended to be a part of, not being able to stay close to Pran)

Pran chooses Wai and proceeds to move along with the supposed enemies facade instead of asking how he's feeling. Also Pran refusing to admit there's anything going on between them irked him big time.

Yeah, I know views cant make a series count as good or bad. But still, I mean Bad Buddy as a drama is phenomenal. It has an intriguing plot. It does have the potential. Sadly at the end of the day people will still go by the youtube views. Some people will have the notion its just another bl story set in an Engineering college. Unless and until it has an overwhelming response, I doubt many people will bother to watch it.

Still being appreciated means a lot isn't it? It's certainly not an unreasonable demand considering the kind of performance Ohm and nanon are delivering. They are not the kind of characters you usually get to see on college campus in Thai bls. As someone had rightly said "They are not two hot boys who stare at each others lips and create tension". The supporting characters too are an added plus in this show. No annoying toxic female leads, no fan clubs shipping two hot boys together. Just the story of two mutually pining boys, and how they face the world. I dont think that's too much to ask or hope for

But what's this talk going on about 2gether having 30million views? Is that true? For one episode? What kind of fanbases were they holding onto? It's insane. Bad buddy wont be able to put up a fight in this way. What is the use of cinematography ,intriguing plotline ,heavenly music ,layered characters and phenomenal actors if the fight is lost even before it begins? And is there any way that we can collectively follow to make Bad buddy famous? I'm willing to help in any way I can
