My July 2025 recommendations challenge
Watch this for my July 2025 recommendations challenge by 𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒊. I was quite curious about Ohm Pawat Chittsawangdee's early drama, and after watching, I also realized his co-star is Singto Prachaya Ruangroj. So, let's discuss the drama.
Story about “Med” Wongsakorn Thanarunsiri, a ghost of a young man who died on his birthday. For twenty years, he has waited at his grave for someone from his family to visit / pay respects so he could reincarnate.
One day, during Tomb-Sweeping Day, a young boy visits the graveyard with his father and unexpectedly leaves an offering at Med’s grave. Med is shocked—and deeply moved—with the boy's kindness. Med also discovers that not only was he noticed, but the boy can also see and hear him. From that day on, Med begins waiting each year for the boy’s return.
As the years passed, the boy grew up. One day, the boy actually spoke to Med, telling him that his father had passed away. Med consoles him, but afterward, the boy disappears again.
More years pass, and one day the boy visits him again. This time, he had grown into a young man in his university years. Finally the boy introduces himself as "Thun" Thunyakorn, and the two spend time together. From then on, Thun visits Med every year on Tomb-Sweeping Day, and each time they hang out, building a slow but meaningful bond.
One year, Thun learns that Med can’t leave the graveyard. Using incense as a medium, Thun takes Med out to spend the day together. But at the end of the day, Thun reveals that this might be their last time together—his mother has decided to relocate his father’s grave. Med felt sad but could do nothing about it.
The next day, surprisingly, Thun returned to the graveyard and told Med that he would take Med out and let him live with him. Thun also informed Med that the reason for his death wasn't really due to heart failure, as Med had thought all this time. Thun explained that Med's spirit color indicated he was a ghost who didn't know the cause of his death.
However, to his surprise, Thun returns the next day with a new plan: he wants Med to come live with him.
Thun also reveals something crucial—Med didn’t die of heart failure as he always believed. His spirit’s color indicates that he died without knowing the true cause of — which explains why he hasn’t been able to move on.
Med agrees to live with Thun and, with Thun's help, they begin investigating the truth behind Med’s death.
As Med starts living with Thun, he begins awakening ghost powers and even helps Thun with his studies. Their bond deepens over time, becoming something more than simple friendship. But using his powers begins to take a toll—Med grows weaker as his spirit fades. If he keeps going like this, he may disappear before finding out how he died.
So what happens in the end?
Will Med vanish before uncovering the truth?
Or will he find the cause of his death in time?
And if he does disappear… How will Thun cope with his feelings?
That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. Now what I like and don't.
What I like:
+ The good chemistry between Singto and Ohm.
+ It's interesting how everything is connected or intertwined. The story weaves together the past and present in a meaningful way.
+ Thun has great friends who support him.
What I don't too like:
- The story was quite boring at times
Overall this is quite an interesting ghost story to watch. This is a heartfelt and unique ghost story that blends mystery, emotion, and romance in a gentle, touching way. It’s not just about solving the mystery of Med’s death — it’s also about healing, connection, and learning to move on.
