Back at Ye Mansion, she felt some attraction but him being the devil fetus and also she had a mission to complete, she probably didn't realise them or even brushed off those feelings.
When she sacrificed her eye for TTJ and devoured the WAJ for him, you can also see that she already cares for TTJ beyond what is required for her mission. And from there it all adds up, bit by bit until the revelation of her true feelings during their date at the QiXi festival.

1. Lol-ing at the crow standing on YXW's head. And TTJ saying she smells!! Well obviously, since she'd been walking for so many days. 2. YXW wearing matching blue outfit now, really admire the costume department for making that gorgeously layered blue and black costume, and love seeing TTJ being so concerned about her well-being, even to the extent of putting ointment on her blisters (didn't he JUST say she smelled?). 3. Seriously, YBC just used her maid as a human shield! The poor maid never even saw it coming, all the while thinking her master as this beautiful, gracious and pitiful person. This woman is vicious! 🤬 4. Not only is TTJ hurt physically, but he and YXW's misunderstandings and miscommunication makes everything worse for him, poor TTJ 🤧 YXW was (is?) young, with no guidance what's who is also quick to jump to conclusions. I'm not trying to sugar-coat her actions but if you're in her shoes, how would you react? When you know deep inside your heart he is the devil fetus?
