My thoughts on Chen Jia

Costume C-dramas usually have plots that are more centered on the FL.

U can never say. As it is not the time when he was on the opposite side of the ML.That will happen after an year. And I had one question like I don’t remember anything would have changed in the way ML met him in this current timeline and would have probably met him in the last time. The FL did not play any role here. So it could be very well be one of those troops where he marries Zhangru and eventually turn against the ML and kills her too.

We can hope for a solid romance in the second season. If they don’t do a The True Detective Season 2 on it.

It had a similar sort of a dynamic with a genius child and the mother raising another child who she has not given birth to. Eventually he too becomes a serial killer and had that hate for the main child. But the two are not ML and 2ML in that drama.

This is what I like. It doesn’t needs to be a full on dating/romance in these Mystery/thriller dramas. The leads needs to have a good chemistry with each other a bit of flirting.

It’s a good one time watch.

This drama reminded me of Longing for you Kdrama.

Woo Jin loves her one sidedly and she apologised on the phone probably because she knew Woo Jin was following her around and sending those pictures but she never told ML about it as she thought she could handle that on her own but she was wrong and should have informed ML about Woo Jin’s actions lately. Which probably would have avoided that situation.

He has got to be the killer as they are showing th FL’s brother as the killer with all the evidence against him. They don’t have that many episodes to make a double twist. Yeah if it was a 16 ep drama then things might have been a little more complicated.

It is one of those dramas where you know who the main criminal is but you still love the drama.
