Maybe I did not express myself properly above. We do know that the FL love the ML as she was writing his name and those letters. When the 2ML proposed to her she went back to think of her last wishes in the past timeline and also the ML’s words in this current one. By the time she was about to answer the news of the ML came around. (she was definitely going to refuse to marry the 2ML). So what I am thinking is that the writers will probably make use of this situation as the FL couldn’t respond before the news came. They can use either of the 2 case. One is in the upcoming few episodes they show the FL being conflicted and all or in the second case they show the 2ML turning evil (currently he just lets everything slides for his family he himself maybe is not taking part in that) as he may think that the FL would have married him if not for the ML. As FL did show her admiration when she came to this timeline.

She was going to refuse the 2ML. But she did think about it and by the time she could even tell her answer the news about the ML came. So maybe the writers are going to make use of this in the later few episodes where the FL finds herself thinking.

As a viewer we can finally be sure that the FL love the ML. Bht for a character perspective it will still leave a doubt in the FL mind if she likes the ML or the 2ML as she was not able to refuse the proposal of the 2ML right of the bat.
