It’s a team vs team fight this time around.

Let’s see how it goes. Because the one who ends up with the He guy will likely won’t have any redemption or will be abused by him. With today’s ep we don’t even know if the He guy will be a mid to long term char or not.As he might have killed the Yang guy.

I think it is a character they can remove soon that don’t seems like a long term char. What if it’s someone from the Yang family itself who did this? As what he was trying to do can endanger his family also. Maybe the grandma(head of the Rong family) did it. I see the Yan, Bai, 2nd, 4th and 5th sisters to be long term char. Anyone except them can take a fall for this. Maybe it’s the Wen guy. Because he doesn’t have much to contribute to the story. As I can see the He guy + 5th sister, 4th sister + Bai guy, 2nd sister + Yan guy working together in the future. The 3rd sister also don’t have much going forward and she might have done this too for revenge (her brother).
Or it very well might be the FL who did this and came to the ML for alibi. And someone else will be framed for this.

See that time even though it looked like she was helping the 4th sister to bully him. But she indeed helped him at that time. As he got to have some time with the FL. Remember she told him that she can even help him. And while he was walking away with the FL he remembered those words again. She is definitely not a good person but she has not done any harm to him for now. She may use him later down the line but she helped him to score an alone time with the FL.

The 4th sister can have a redemption arc. So her ending up with the scholar makes sense. And they already have scenes together. Why would she end up with the He guy with whom she had 0 scenes together.

The 5th sister ending with the He guy makes sense as they will be the Evil villain characters here with no redemption arc.

Yeah they need to turn him as an evil guy. Because the Yang & He guy dont have the brains to be a long term Male Villain. He and that Bai guy are more suitable for that.

4th one is plain stupid for now. She is fun to watch but stupid.

Yeah he has reputation but is only a newly appointed to his role + was an orphan before. So he won't have that much money on him. Otherwise when the Rong family told they will not support the poor scholars, he would have said that he will support them.

Well someone mentioned in the Recent Discussion section that the ML has someone who likes him(unrequited lover). Let’s see if it turns out to be one of the sisters or someone from the past.

Among the sisters if someone does loves him for real then I can only see that being the 3rd sister for now.

She isn’t treated well. Her father and mother are not that powerful in the family. If I remember correctly she told her mother was a lowly maid. So her father was a Rong and men don’t have a big standing in the Rong family. Probably her mother also died in the family.
