The guys for all four couples are such eye candy in this show! Their styling suit them so well. Of course Simon Gong but also Yang Shi Ze (whom I like since I watched him in "My Lonely Planet") and Miles Wei naturally. Zhang Ling He hasn't appeared yet but I have no doubt that he would look real fine.
I haven't watched the next couple of episodes yet, but I am also not a fan of him so far. And Chai Phee is different…
Thank you for the context. I am really annoyed with Jak and based on others commenting that he is indecisive as his father, made me think that I am not going to be impressed by Chai Phee as well. However, your explanation makes me want to watch it instead so I am looking for it at Telegram :)
OK, Jak is not impressing me much at this point. He's not making it clear to Noopok and not holding the line with Annie. If he is really like his father, I don't think I am interested in watching his father's story.
One of the few things still good about this show is the relationship between the brothers. Despite all the potential tropes that the show could have used to destroy the relationship, they still kept the loyalty strong.
It seems that both LG and MY are trying to protect each other but both giving up on being together, acknowledging that it is impossible.
Poor MY, her whole world just kept falling apart, Especially after what Moo Baek (her bodyguard) told her about her father...She should try to revive the King now...I am annoyed that she has the ability but is doing nothing.
So it looks like maybe LG has a plan after all...now I am intrigued

Great Grandma at least was not forcing Jak and gave him good advice. To give him credit, Jak admitted that he was being a coward but still, I am so irritated at how he just kept stringing her along because he does not want to "hurt her". Like you said, at least in ep 5, he finally made it clear to Annie. However, I don't think it was very gentlemanly of him to blame it all on her, saying that it was her who initiated all and he had to respond because she was a close friend of his sister.
It seems pretty clear that the show is going to drag out the misunderstanding. So annoying!
Yeah, I like the pairing of the Arkom and Noonoi - I think it is great that Noonoi has this crush on Jak but she is so cool about it and even shipping Noopok and Jak together!
All right, gotta finish the rest of ep 5 and 6. Hopefully, there will be some improvement between Jak and Noopok.
I was going to stop after episode 4 to watch other shows but it had to end with Miles showing up. Sigh…how could I possible stop then 😁 So far so good. The visuals in this show - gorgeous! I’m not feeling the chemistry between the leads yet but they look so good together! Love how Yang Mi looks so intense! She’s fitting for her role 😍
Not much to say about the romances in this show. One of few shows which I much rather watch for the friendships and bromance. Hu Yi Tian along with his male co stars did well acting but I was not impressed by their characters. HYT appeared to be in his element and he’s definitely better here than his other shows where he appeared to be more stiff. This was a miss for me with Liang Jie as the FL. Her resting bitch face is again quite obvious and made her character looked sour most of the time. Or maybe because of her character, she emphasized it more. Either way, it’s done. I don’t think I would recommend it if you’re watching for the romance. I would recommend the OST though.

I don’t think I would recommend it if you’re watching for the romance. I would recommend the OST though.
