Ikr, it would be awesome to have a drama like that, and the drama would focus on them strategizing and taking action together to defend their nation against external and internal enemies.

Love love the role reversal during the date 😍 NYZ made the perfect model...just the right doll for Ruyi to play dress up. He was so subservient too - yes, Madam here and sure, Madam there! The background music was just right too!

Can you just imagine how great a nation would be if NYZ and Ruyi were the ruling emperor & empress??! I would love to have a drama with leading characters in those positions and are equally as intelligent and resourceful, with the same kind of healthy romance!

Yeah, especially after ep 6, I think it's all related to breaking the bad ending fated for the ML and FL

Liu Yu Ning is “bu shi wo de cai” (meaning not my type) but he is just so sexy as NYZ. I think LYN has a great career in wuxia!

If they ended the show with ep 18, I would be fine. We got the FL finally realizing how silly she was holding onto her pride just because…plus we got a great kiss out of it. I think Miles Wei must have realized that he is now one of the Rom Com princes and therefore must step up his game 😆
I’m curious about the confession he’s planning though so I hope that’s coming soon!

I love the ending of ep 6 and the reference back to connections. The flashbacks and the way it clicked for the FL. So far a great story!

Somehow I think Grandpa is the masked guy who threw the FL into the well. He’s got an evil vibe but maybe he’s related to her Joseon grandpa and there’s some fated plan that will end up saving the ML from dying in each life.

I really like this couple. There’s something so natural and sweet about them!

One thing I really enjoy watching is the character development or "humanization" of Ruyi as she sees how the Liudao Hall men treat each other, and how they especially NYZ respect people in general. She's learning how life can be much more valuable.

I watched eps 19-21 in one go and the fight scenes were just awesome!
My favorite part of the show is still the bromance, maybe even more than the romance.
This being a wuxia, I am so worried by all the foreshadowing and the fates of those loyal buddies 😞

Up to ep 10 and the FL continues to show her resourcefulness. Evil in laws getting annoying again!

Ep 20 was another slow one with slight plot progression. .

Pretty light compared to other shows of similar theme and I like it! It’s funny with visually appealing leads. The FL is a little abrasive but not unlikable. ML is cute and fell surprising quick for the FL. I thought he was supposed to be the strong silent type that took time warming up. Anyway, it’s entertaining so far!

Oh dear I haven’t seen that part yet where Drago killed her in the past love. I thought he was trying to save her when she fell off the cliff. But there was also the scene when she got shot with an arrow in the back so maybe that’s when she got killed.
I’m waiting for ep 20 to load but you’re right, it will be such a rush to end everything in the last 6 episodes.

You’re right, it was obvious that the show was setting that up. Oh well, like you said hopefully it won’t take more than 1 or 2 episodes to resolve 🤞
