Somehow this drama reminds me of “The Story of MingLan”. Both equally good!

I came across this last night and just like that, watched all 6 episodes. I love “travelogue” dramas like this one with excellent cinematography. The acting is excellent and the slice of life stories of the three ladies flow very nicely.
It’s too bad that it’s only 8 episodes.

Yeah i think he came back and found out about all the ones related to Wu Shan Long - I think he’s the killer that hit that Mrs. Zhao too

I’m so annoyed - her power got leveled up but then she got weakened even more now.
Also not enough of those horrible cultivators suffered - I wanted to see more pay for their narrow power hungry minds! Especially Jiang Ji and the mad guy in the library 😡

Allen Ren is a very good proof of that! It does not take skinship to deliver the heart fluttering feels that I get from watching his dramas. It's the way he expresses himself using his eyes, and body language. He has chemistry with most of his FLs.
Of course it also helps that the FLs were good and talented in their own right. Seven Tan, Dilreba, Bailu, Song Zuer all amazing actresses and also known to have good chemistry with their MLs.
All in all, it's the pairing that matters. There were a couple of his dramas where I thought it would have been better if he and the FL were siblings :D

Well one could hope for a quick peck like in Demon Hunter's Romance, or a longer lingering but stiff one in the Blue Whisper or a soft one like in Forever and Ever...those are the only 3 I can think of lol

Well, hypothetically speaking, and this is purely just theory - it can be for having more children and in a non patriarchal world, they probably don't care who the father is when the end goal is to have the child. It's like in our modern world of going to a sperm bank.
Personally, I'm not sure I am comfortable watching a woman truly engaging in a harem since I am usually so annoyed watching men do that in the dramas.

I don't want Jiang Ji to die, instead I want her to lose all her cultivation and all her meridians broken, reduced to a mortal. That's a better punishment for her compared to death.

Ah looking at the hug, I don't think we will be seeing any kiss scenes in this show. I could be wrong though so we will see...Nevertheless, the chemistry is still good.
Seeing that they have no secrets between them, I hope our main couple stays strong until the very end. We are past the halfway mark so surely that's not too much to hope.

He has - nothing passionate but he did kiss Bai Lu in Forever and Ever, and Dilreba in the Blue Whisper. I don't remember any other shows but he does have good chemistry with almost all of his FLs.

Hmmm, so to the FL, A Sheng is a little delicate cute kitten...not sure about that 😅
But seriously, did she let go or did Jin Lun let go? I cannot tell if she betrayed him or now.

Our main couple is so cute together now. The FL is so smiley in ep 24, adorable! She looks gorgeous in the Bei Xiang attire - dark colors suit her better. As for Allen, well - he just looks good.

They almost did it in Glory (2025). The women in the matriarchal family are allowed to have multiple men but in the show, the FL did not take advantage of that 😁

Yeah they would have been a good ‘enemies to lovers” couple!

I know that Ye Xian is annoying as heck, but I quite like the chemistry between him and Gu Jin Chao.

Chen Yuan Qing is rather bland even though he's good looking. It seems that Jin Chao has a thing for him right now.

When will we actually see something start between Chen San Ye and her? I really like how they understand each other well, all the hidden messages behind the gifts and actions.

So excited for this one - Ci Sha in a proper lead role! He caught my eye in Forever and Ever and again in the Blue Whisper. He's got a very attractive quality about him, and his chemistry with RenMin seems good so far.

Watching ep 3 and I am amazed by the strength of brotherhood and what friends will do. Nie Feng Ming's sacrifice 😭

I liked the connection to Goddess Wushuang—the drama about her (A Moment but Forever) was good.

Maybe it’s because this is an Allen Ren drama, I adjusted my expectations of romance knowing there wouldn’t be much skinship. So I especially appreciate the romantic scenes - the way the ML recognized the FL instantly despite her mask, the scene with the falling flower petals, and how he got the color for the sunset. Subtle but lovely.
