I totally agree with you because the FL drew the line with her ex. The ML stepped up and told the ex to back off too so why was his EQ so low when it comes to the twin??? The show wrote his character badly during this phase and I hate that it was all to create drama and misunderstandings …after all the green flag MLs in recent dramas, I am very disappointed by this one

Actually the ex was not that bad until ep 15. Then it was trash but now worse trash has appeared. Looks like there will be all these tropey angsty situations until after ep 26

Haha I take it back. More issues in ep 31 and they made the FL more pathetic even until ep 33. 😡

There’s a couple of sweet scenes thrown in between but definitely not the focus.

Luckily it seems the drama and issues that I was annoyed by seem to be resolved by ep 30.

Same here! Not only are the female characters going downhill, now the ML is also having issues! Too much to deal with

Urgh, I’m on ep 30 and the show just ruined it by throwing all sorts of issues at all the females and making them look incompetent at helping themselves. The worst thing is that the lack of self awareness and inconsistent behavior. From strong opinionated women, the two main leads suddenly become so passive. I can understand the low ratings.

Ok I’m stopping at ep 18, and after ep 26 preview, will pick up again and binge watch through those annoying episodes to the happy scenes again. Not in a mood for an annoying ex and delusional twin!

All I want is our leads to stay strong and pull through together to achieve their goals! For her to get her revenge and for him to get her🙏

I’m in ep 25 now. A couple of episodes back, they started showing signs of wanting to be back together and finally they made it official! 😍

I hope that SDG’s mother will be on HYJ’s side! She’s truly the Queen Bee that even that nasty adoptive mother is no match for her!

This is such an entertaining bingeable show. 8 episodes flew by so quickly! Yes it is tropey but I am here for BaiLu, Dylan Wang and Miles Wei so that’s ok!
I like how the ML was immediately attracted to the FL and there is this tension between them because the FL is also interested. The ML is a little petty though lol and I love how the FL’s best friend summed up his overbearing CEO type!
BaiLu never fails to have amazing chemistry with her ML, likewise with Dylan. The show hit the jackpot with this couple pairing!
The finance/tech world is also interesting to me and the show makes it easy to understand.

I agree with you, it does have a similar vibe as “Meet Yourself” where it is set in a smaller town setting and is a slice of life drama. I like the characters in Meet Yourself more though 😁 They are less tropey and more likable.
In this show, there’s the annoying controlling parents, and the FL and ML’s aunt do have their annoying moments. The ML is cute and like you, I hope they get together soon!
I am enjoying this drama a lot though and have binge-watched up to ep 22. Hope to finish it by this weekend 😁
