You mean "Only For Love"? I am watching it now. Be prepared for a tropey and cheesy story but I am enjoying it very much because of that! It's been a while since I've watched the Overbearing CEO story ;)
I wish when XS was daydreaming about what happened "that night", they would flash back to the steamy part...lol...although the biting scene was hilarious!

Romantic music playing most time they meet now lolā¦this part I like but looking at the preview for ep 18, the journey to love will not be as smooth š„² My favorite moments though were whenever JH showed her brilliance in strategy and quick responses to situations!
This was a pleasant watch but I can understand the low rating. It would have been better if it was shorter since the story got draggy halfway through. The sad thing was that from episodes 29 until around 35, the show threw in all sorts of issues to create drama but the worst was that the female leads were reduced to pathetic states, unable to help themselves. That was so inconsistent with their character portrayals before that. Smart intelligent outspoken women reduced to little ability to speak up, defend themselvesā¦very annoying š” This is a slice of life drama focused on the growth of two women and their friendship so I was not expecting much in the romance department. There was romance but it may not have been enough to satisfy those looking for sizzling scenes between the ML played by Bai Jing Ting and the FL played by Wang Zi Wen. Fans of BJT would appreciate that he appeared a lot and was one of the main characters. He didnāt really have to flex his acting skills that much in this show but he was good. Both female leads acted fine too. Itās just too bad the show did their characters dirty towards the end. Overall, I would still recommend that people give this show a try and maybe watch some episodes on 2x speed to get through the draggy part.

I understand what you meanā¦itās interesting to me that there are fans who cannot see their onscreen CPs be matched with other actors. So they compare everything - from age, looks, height, talent and chemistry with the other lead. Easier for me to understand when fans will defend whatever characters their idols play. Thatās expected. For me, I mainly like this show because it is so the āoverbearing CEOā romance trope. It is exaggerated and set in todayās time, it is pure entertainment. Plus I like the actors and get the impression that they had fun making this show š

I was encouraged by all the comments about eps 15-16 so I binged through the earlier eps can caught up! The story is now interesting to me! Iām dying for a good historical so like you, hoping that WOL 2023 would be a good one š¤

Iām almost done. It was a nice watch but way too long and they ruined the last few episodes by throwing too many issues at the two female leads. Like you o would have preferred more romance but I guess the story was focused mainly on the FL and the aunt. Anyway, catch you in another drama!

And it was noted a few times that he holds grudges š so adding the FL to WeChat only after he found that she took the niece and not the Prof, was an expected petty move lol Yeah I donāt know enough webtoons but my guess itās usually the popular ones that get picked up

Iām not sure why some think that the ML is not interested or has shown little interest in the FL. Itās pretty obvious to me that he was attracted to her at first sight, and he got so easily jealous at every occasion. This Overbearing CEO trope is quite nostalgic since I read so many of those kind of novels in the past š
Encouraged by the comments, I binged up to eps 15 and 16 . Love how the FL is shaping up and how she has not lost her spunk or wit. Her flattery and sucking up to the ML is cringey but funny. Love the slow burn and how the ML is falling for herā¦heās a lost case by now. I like the SFL but I think she needs to learn to be more humble too. Sheās way too self righteous, especially when it comes to the FL, immediately prejudiced just because the FL came from a wealthy background. Love to see her taken down a little before she join hands with the FL. SML is awesome! No complaints about him!

Lolā¦at least thereās a silver lining! Iām having issues with Rising with the Wind too because of how pathetic they are making the FL. Yes yes I know she has to fall hard to rise even higher but Iām just not in the mood š

I totally agree with you because the FL drew the line with her ex. The ML stepped up and told the ex to back off too so why was his EQ so low when it comes to the twin??? The show wrote his character badly during this phase and I hate that it was all to create drama and misunderstandings ā¦after all the green flag MLs in recent dramas, I am very disappointed by this one
