Yes!! She has the right to be upset and also it’s kinda a game for her😅😅
Yeah, that's true. It's interesting, unlike other dramas about gaming where the characters are obviously in a game, this drama doesn't show that. Most of the time, I feel like I am watching a slice-of-life drama about the village life....
Watched eps 16 - 18 today and the show is really building up the moments between HRZ and HQ. NGL, I like them together but I still want the end game to be ZXW. I just don’t want HRZ to be heartbroken 😭
I guess I have not watched many republican spy shows since I am really enjoying this one. I started last night and watched until ep 9. I like both leads from their previous dramas and here I am impressed even more by Elvis Han. Hopefully this show will continue to engage me.
For me, this show was better than the earlier ones about firemen. Even though it felt like a nationalistic campaign complete with the PSAs at the end of each episode, it had so much depth and development. It’s too bad that it was released after a slew of similar themed dramas.
I really enjoyed this drama for its focus on the lives of the firemen and their loved ones, the trials and tribulations that they go through. There were celebratory moments and some incredibly heart wrenchingly scenes including my interpretation of the end for the leads.
The romance was well done, the insights into the firemen’s lives and loves were profound and realistic and the fire safety tips were helpful. Overall, a well executed drama, especially the parallel stories between the FL’s father and the ML but it broke my heart in the end.
Everyone acted well, leads and supporting. Johnny Huang impressed me and I’m glad that he had a chance to make a comeback. Zhang Jing Yi is developing her presence as a lead actress.
Man’er is trying hard but she’s just not able to manage on her own. Great ideas but execution is poor. She should let others help her more. Luckily it’s only one episode separating our couple!
Worth watching! Especially if you are a fan of Pong. He just looked so good in every shot, from his hair, makeup to his clothes. Of course, Pong acted well as usual and his ML character was almost green flag except for a scene when he lost his temper.
Fern was ok, she looked gorgeous as usual but her acting disappointed me a little like it did in Hua Jai Sila. She was good in the crying scenes but other scenes, she felt a little flat and weak in delivery. She was good in the Love Proposal which is why I was expecting more.
The chemistry between the leads was good but I’ve seen each of them having even better chemistry with other actors.
The second couple is cute and fun. I’m liked watching their progression. The ML’s father was a great character too.
The villains were unimpressive but added enough drama for the story to move along. The nang rai felt unnecessary, causing trouble but fizzled away at the end.
Overall the story was good and engaging. Last episodes dragged a little since the FL had to do the whole noble idiocy trope. I get it, the character ultimately was a good person and had morals...but I rather have more sweet scenes of the main couple. However, the ending totally made up for it and I love the traditional rituals. Pong and Fern looked absolutely amazing in the main scene towards the end!!!
Hopefully this show will continue to engage me.

Really, this show deserves a higher rating!
