I hope so too! I’m grumpy about today’s episode because of the whole ‘I need to break up with you for your own good’ thing. Especially when they both told each other to lean on them for support. You’re right - these cliches are so unnecessary.
True, they changed up the story a bit where there were more obstacles for Xu Yan Shi and XIang Yuan. Both faced challenges in their work while in YAMG, the journey was much smoother. So Yu Tu didn’t have to make any sacrifices for JJ.

I also wanted to see more of Ping'An, but once the show resolved the cliche of the ML getting over his trauma, I guess we are done with that plot device. With Ping'An, he has already been trained and his home was with the FL for many years. I get that he needed to be trained for the certification but the whole separation/transition thing was skimmed over too easily.

I was thinking the same thing once the ML took over the dog's training. After being with the FL for so many years, was the transition supposed to be that easy? In real life, I have often heard about the separation anxiety that pets go through when they have to change their homes and families. In this show, it's like the FL has no issue just leaving the dog in the kennel...I understand that she's been training the dog for the ML but still she was its trainer for so many years. I guess the dog is just a small side plot so the show doesn't even bother showing her missing Ping'An.

For me, she's trying too hard to be cutesy with the ML and her expressions when not with the ML needs some improvement. ML has the easier job, act all serious and emotionless until it's time to flash his dimples.
Catching up from ep 15 onwards. My main reaction is to check out the bio of the screenwriter because who on earth would have thrown in so many cliches and cringe into one show??? Dialogue that was supposed to be romantic ended up making me do some massive eye rolls, a refreshing FL turning out to be more of a teenager, a tsundere ML who still cannot communicate and what's up with the clothes tugging? It's not enough that the FL is doing it, now the 2ML is doing it too...I only pray that we don't constantly get flashbacks of their relationships by showing all the clothes tugging scenes. Also, can we move past the face staring moments...not too much chemistry there so can we at least finish off with a kiss, even a peck would be fine at this point. Hopefully it is just my mood today after seeing my most-hated trope "noble idiocy' thrown into the show in the latest episode, and tomorrow's episode would be better.
