Ep 23 and 24 were great with so many sweet moments between the leads but I liked what happened to Gao Leng the most. Who knows a new couple may be born!

Yeah the show made it so. Of course the clueless unfeeling guy must fall for the clingy in your face girl. Just recently we saw the same set up in The Love You Gave Me with the second couple. I have not seen that trope fail except when it’s the SFL going after the ML. Lol

His styling is unfortunate along with the hair and unflattering glasses. The actor is actually nice looking.

I don’t know whether to feel sorry for Mu Nan, the Demon Lord or to be annoyed by his obsession.

May be boring to some but I like the scenes of domesticity in ep 13. Calm before the angst.

I think it’s deliberate to make the country unrecognizable. And to use a generic name. The show is trying to be politically neutral.
On a different note, I totally enjoyed the airplane scene. HLY’s subtle ways of getting close to An Ni but still seen by the two sidekicks

That was one of my favorite scene from today’s episode.

That’s what I like about the dialogue though. Like An Ni telling He that his coat smells or An Ni chiding her side kick for not helping her with the luggage.😁

I agree - I rather have a strong FL than a Mary Sue type. I don't dislike her, just liking her less since I would have preferred her to become more dignified as she gets close to the ML.
You may be right, it could be only under the guise of being drunk (but she's not actually drunk) that she snuck in the first kiss, and then said more cringey stuff the second time of her drinking (ep 10).

Ah true...yeah, this third ML, falling into the trope of not confessing early enough...

I know, the poor dude. At least his potential romantic interest is pretty and sassy. Hopefully her character is better than the one the actress played in Romance of a Twin Flower. She was gorgeous but a nasty SFL...

I feel bad for the SML, mainly because of the actor Ci Sha. He tends to be stuck in SML roles who doesn't get the girl...except in The Blue Whisper.
