Well, that's true and I think he does like the Fox Princess, after all, they are betrothed. With the FL though, it's almost like Love at First Sniff lol, something that he does not understand himself but cannot help it...

I like the Demon lord but for now, I find Yi Er annoying...her antics are too exaggerated.

I think you're right that they are star-crossed lovers. If the FL is the Phoenix , then he has the ultimate task of killing her before she destroys the 3 worlds...I guess that's the angsty part of the Xianxia ;D

So many possibilities... the synopsis states that the Phoenix will destroy the three worlds so I guess that's where the angsty parts will come in when the ML will be put in the position of having to kill the FL. She's only an ant if she keeps wearing that jade bracelet since she clearly has powers from the beginning...

That's true, I couldn't be 100% sure but it does seem like her outfits match the Phoenix look...

Yeah I was thinking maybe this show could be different where the FL will be some demon/immortal being. The phoenix will be the ultimate villain that will destroy the world and the FL will save the day ;D

True true...I was thinking that her Phoenix aura must be sealed deeply (like the Heart Protecting Scale if you are watching that drama too LOL)
