First two episodes were entertaining for me. I like the set up and hope to see Dilreba show her eloquence during the court scenes and some action skills during the fight scenes.
Just got done with ep 1. Looks interesting so far and hopefully Viki will keep up with the subs for the episodes. Looking at the credits, no romance vibes so I’m excited to see how Dilraba does in this show!
LOL, the firefly scene in ep 12 was sweet but all I could think of is that I hope they had some version of bug spray/mosquito repellent at that time...
Watched up to ep 12, and I like the calm pacing of this show. I appreciate the details that the show includes about the Boran medical treatments and medicine, plus the culture. However, the FL is not impressing me, and neither is Kimmy's acting. Her character is not substantial enough. It's like she's just there...adding some useful information but that's it. She does not add much value overall as a FL. Maybe it gets better toward the ending.
So many questions and the main couple getting closer is making things worse because it is setting them up for real heartbreak. Sigh, I almost want to wait for this show to finish airing so that I don't have to wait so long for things to resolve. Why can't this be a 24-episode show?

Yeah - her character in LCR was definitely more pessimistic but I felt that she also was not as natural in her delivery. It's interesting because in this show, she also lost her mother (and father) but her character is completely different.

So my latest hopeful theory is that Chen Chen and Xuan Xuan are twins for sure, and I think the ML has a twin who is the father, whom the latest baddie Qin Tian mistook for the ML, and the mother of the twins is the FL's older sister.
Love Janice Wu in this show! I guess she was warming up with her role in Light Chaser Rescue with Luo Yun Xi. She was so stiff in that role which was too bad since LYX is an excellent actor and it would have been such an awesome pairing!

Yes that’s what I think too - that the reason must be related to his dad and him ending up being his brother’s guardian. XY already knows about his struggles with his family, with his career etc so I hope that she forgives him quickly in ep 19 and then we move on to the kiss in ep 20. I’m hoping that it’s a real kiss and not her imagination LOL
