Finally watched ep 15. Gosh, didn't think that other guy in high school was and is still such a jerk!

My guess is that the ML has a non disclosure clause in his contract with Chen Shan and that’s why he told the FL that he will tell her some day. Too bad our spunky FL can be too dismissive at times and didn’t respond well.

I think it is also because their past and how hurt she was when he just moved away after not going to her bday party. We can see that as she found more like why that happened, she immediately warmed up more to the ML and ran to find him and told him that she will protect him. Of course she offered to be buddies which the ML internally rejected LOL.
She needs to be honest about why she doesn’t want to get married, and I think he is waiting to tell her what’s the deal with Chen Shan… he probably has a NDA clause that he cannot breach.

Even though the show is setting up all these situations for future misunderstandings or melodrama, it seems that things get resolved really quickly often within the same episode. That's what I like most about this show, besides the great chemistry between the leads and their great visuals, plus the fun comedy...

ML is giving me Allen Ren vibes...somehow I am always reminded of Allen when I see him except the ML is much taller!

Yeah - in Little Forest, he was very nerdy but I don't remember him as being sociophobic. More like he just didn't care about anyone who was not in his inner circle. Very indifferent.
In this drama, he is more like a jaded person who had a very hard childhood and now facing lots of frustration at work.

The subs on Viki seemed to be ok but they only have it for ep 1. I understand Mandarin pretty well so I am watching it raw.

Just got done with episode 2. Seems like a cute show so far with the usual tropes including the current trend of using cute kids.
