I completely agree that it is such a shame for really great dramas to lose their appeal because of bad subbing. Sometimes I wonder about the k-dramas that I watch especially the historical sageuks if the translation is done correctly.
When I have more time, I do want to volunteer to sub for those channels. Until then though, I am happy to translate for the folks here. It’s great practice for me 😁

Exactly - it's so rare in dramaland to have main leads with such high EQ. Characters who also give us all the feels and do not frustrate us with tropey actions.

Actually, it does not take too long. Since I would translate and type while rewatching and those scenes are just few minutes each. It only takes me more time to search up phrases or idioms that I am not familiar with. So don't feel bad.
It's good practice for me since I want to be a translator later when I am tired of my current job LOL
